She’s now safe, healthy, and ready for her forever home! 🏡 Gertie has the rarest chocolate color and is heartworm negative, fully vetted, microchipped, and scheduled for spay. She loves the company of mellow friends and enjoys playing on her own. While she’s not a fan of smaller dogs, she’s sure to bring lots of love to the right family. 🐾 Want to give this gorgeous girl a second chance? Squishy was found in a backyard of a home that they state she did not live in. This beautiful girl is very sweet, but still really cautious of new people only takes a couple of days for her to warm up and really shine. She does sit and she has been around children and done just fine. She will pull on a leash and she’s pretty strong but overall she’s a gorgeous sweet girl who just wants to run and play

VOLUNTEER NOTES: Prada is so sweet, gentle, calm girl . Low energy. Well mannered. She looks like maybe a Shar Pei, Pittie mix. She had the most soulful eyes that just make you want to hug her and love her forever. Easy to get in and out of her kennel and always just politely waits at the kennel door to be picked to go out! Love her!

Honey was found in the harsh streets of Houston. She’d been fending for herself a long time and was in rough shape. Some amazing ladies picked her up and started her on the path to healing. She didn’t have a long term plan though, and right before she was to be released back to the streets, she was scooped up and brought to DFW, where the rest of her healing would take place. She had heartworms and has completely recovered and her personality is shining through! She loves to play with her foster sisters and brothers, and loves to give kisses? She’s a little shy at first, but this girl is a gem!

Tex is a handsome, happy boy and is approximately 4.5 years old and 50 lbs. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm/flea preventative and is microchipped. TEX will come running with a smile when you call him. Tex is a successful graduate of a formal training program. He will happily demonstrate his skills! Tex has perfect leash manners, is great in his crate and loves car rides. He is a quiet boy and not destructive. When comfortable, Tex is a giant love bug, rolls over for belly rubs, runs and plays, gives kisses and is beyond loyal. Tex is most suited for an inside home where he is the only dog.
