VOLUNTEER NOTES: Prada is so sweet, gentle, calm girl . Low energy. Well mannered. She looks like maybe a Shar Pei, Pittie mix. She had the most soulful eyes that just make you want to hug her and love her forever. Easy to get in and out of her kennel and always just politely waits at the kennel door to be picked to go out! Love her!

Story
Honey was found in the harsh streets of Houston. She’d been fending for herself a long time and was in rough shape. Some amazing ladies picked her up and started her on the path to healing. She didn’t have a long term plan though, and right before she was to be released back to the streets, she was scooped up and brought to DFW, where the rest of her healing would take place. She had heartworms and has completely recovered and her personality is shining through! She loves to play with her foster sisters and brothers, and loves to give kisses? She’s a little shy at first, but this girl is a gem!

She will come over for a little petting behind the ears but when she’s done, she’s done. This beautiful character will amaze you with her quick reflexes and her desire to earn treats. You will fall in love with her. There’s just no way you couldn’t.Lancel was part of a breeder dumping situation in Big Sandy Texas. She is about 2 year old and a Shar Pei mix. I have a beautiful brindle boxer. Her name is Zena. She has a loving and gentle spirit. She loves pets on her legs, it makes her stretch them out as far as she can! Also on the top and sides of her neck. She listens to me and I can comfortably take her on walks without a leash. She is playful and loves to catch treats thrown her way. Squeaky toys especially balls and toys with a pocket for treats are her favorite. She will stand on her back legs for an extended period of time for a treat. She has very good balance and can jump very high! When you get her going she is full of energy. It breaks my heart but I have to give her up. She loves to play with water coming out of a hose it’s her favorite thing. Anyone who gets her will feel like they have added another family member! She deserves to go to another good owner so she can continue to be the great dog she is.
