Meet Lancel! Lancel was part of a breeder dumping situation in Big Sandy Texas. She is an almost 4 year old Shar Pei mix. Even with the trauma of being dumped Lancel is quite the character. She somehow has the energizer bunny living in her body. She wakes up to play and like most children, she tries to skip bedtime to play. She loves a good meal and she loves having others four legged friends to share a meal with. Humans, she is getting use to. She treats humans much like a cat would. She will come over for a little petting behind the ears but when she’s done, she’s done. This beautiful character will amaze you with her quick reflexes and her desire to earn treats. You will fall in love with her. Meet SharShar!SharShar is an almost 2-year-old male Chinese Shar-Pei mix with the fluffiest coat and a truly sweet, soulful nature. He is a confident, beautiful spirit who enjoys playing with his foster siblings and naturally steps into a leadership role within the pack. He likes to believe he is in charge, and honestly, he does a wonderful job. When the dogs go outside, SharShar makes sure everyone comes back in. He never leaves a pup behind.His foster, who has experience with Shar-Peis, says SharShar is hands down the most enjoyable she has ever had. He knows basic commands and will even ring a bell to let you know when he needs to go outside. He is house trained, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines.SharShar does take time to warm up to new people. Trust is not something he gives away easily, but once you earn it, you gain one of the most loyal and devoted companions you could ask for. He forms deep bonds and loves his people wholeheartedly. He is more vocal than some dogs, but his baritone commentary is part of his charm.He enjoys being free range in the home, so leash walking will require continued work. He also needs eye gel applied every two days due to his eyelashes touching his eyes, which is a simple and manageable routine. SharShar is fascinated by children and does well with other dogs.
