Kit is a 1-year-old Old English Sheepdog and poodle mix with an exceptional temperament and a bright future ahead of him. He is an incredibly well-mannered, stable, and thoughtful young dog who is friendly with people, great with kids, and gets along well with other dogs. Kit is currently being prepared for his future as a service dog and will be ready to go home with his handler in approximately 2–3 months. He has the kind of calm, steady personality that makes him a wonderful candidate for this work, while still being a happy, affectionate young dog who enjoys being around his people. Kit is looking for a handler who is ready to continue building on his training and develop the partnership that will allow him to thrive as a service dog. We are so excited about his future and can't wait to see the difference he will make for his person!

Story
Max is a 5-year-old Standard Poodle who is ready to trade his barn-dog life for a cozy home where he can finally relax and be someone’s big, goofy snuggle bug. Max spent much of his life as a barn dog, and unfortunately, he was being attacked by another dog in the household. Because of this, he is looking for a new home where he can feel safe, secure, and truly be part of the family. Since Max is still getting used to all the things that come with being a house dog, he can occasionally be a little awkward when it comes to household life. He’s learning, though, and he has so many wonderful qualities that make him worth the patience. He is incredibly sweet, loves to snuggle, and has a playful side that comes out in some seriously impressive zoomies! Give him a collection of toys and he’ll happily entertain himself with just about anything. Max does well with other dogs when introductions are slow, thoughtful, and appropriate. He is also still working on his potty training as he adjusts to life indoors. Max will be receiving professional on-leash training, giving his new family a great foundation to continue building on. He may need a little patience as he learns the ropes of being a house dog, but underneath it all is a loving, playful boy who really just wants to feel safe and loved.

She’s a gentle, goofy, and incredibly affectionate girl who loves being around her people and has never met a couch she didn’t want to claim. Emi is wonderful with kids and has a sweet, easygoing personality that makes her an absolute joy to have around. She is also being adopted with her sister, Lucy. While they are siblings, they have a healthy relationship with each other and have had no issues together. At this time, Emi and Lucy are looking for a home where they can be the only pets. Emi and Lucy come with professional on-leash training, helping their new family start off on the right foot. If you’re looking for a pair of goofy, loving girls who will happily fill your home—and your couch—with love, Emi and Lucy may be your perfect match.
