Meet Chester! Chester is a beautiful sheepadoodle that we just rescued from a high kill shelter. Chester loves his people friends very much and was so happy to get a haircut after leaving the shelter in 1 big mat. As is typical for his breed, Chester is a very smart boy which can sometimes veer into being high strung. Therefore, he needs someone patient that can guide him through the next steps of his life and help mold him into the amazing dog we know he can be!

Story
Sherman needs a home with no other pets. He is the sweetest, 57lb 5-year-old boy that gives great hugs with some special needs. Transparency is very important so he will go to the perfect home. Once Sherman knows you, he will be glued to you. But that comes with some things you need to know. He is extremely timid. Afraid of almost everything. He will bark constantly at a stranger at the door or walking by unless wearing a bark collar. He cannot be at a dog park with other dogs. He will try to lunge at other dogs on a trail. He walks perfectly at heal but with an e-collar, the lunges decrease dramatically. He gets carsick. Every time. When nervous or anxious, his go-to is to drink a lot of water, throw it up, repeat. He will probably do this for several weeks in a new home. He does this when he gets home from the groomer (which he needs every 5-6 weeks). He is fine with kids after a quick introduction and will love them. Warms up to women faster than men. More information available.

Meet Sprocket, a 4-year-old Poodle mix with a big personality and a heart full of potential. Sprocket has had a rough start and comes with a history of reactivity and biting. He’s a scared dog who needs a firm, experienced owner to help him feel secure and establish boundaries. Sprocket has had training sessions and responds well to clear, consistent leadership. Once he knows you’re in charge, he’s much more relaxed and doesn’t push back. However, he does react to new people and should wear a muzzle during initial introductions for safety. Despite his challenges, Sprocket has no health issues and thrives on affection from his trusted person. He enjoys being cuddled and will show his sweet side once he’s built trust. If you’re an experienced dog owner ready to provide a structured, loving environment, Sprocket could be a rewarding companion. He’s looking for someone who can help him overcome his fears and show him the love and stability he deserves.

I have a 3 yr old black male whoodle (wheaton terrier/poodle mix). We adopted Theo in 2023 from a breeder in Byers, Co. The breeder is Green Valley Kennel. Theo's birthday is 3/23/23. He is up to date on vaccinations, we take him to Goodheart Vet in Lowry which is in Denver. We have 7 and 11 yr old children. Theo is mainly with us and never around any other dogs other than when we take him on walks. He's never been trained. Theo is very energetic and friendly. At first, with new people he is jumpy and curious and once he establishes trust he is fine, but it takes awhile. I groom and wash Theo myself because tends to get nippy with strangers. I have to place a muzzle on Theo when we go to the vet, to the pet washing store and sometimes on walks. Last September, Theo's vet prescribed Trazadone for him to take prior to bathing and grooming. It has worked out well. Theo travels very well on road trips. He loves carrots, celery, gala apples, canned salmon & tuna. Theo is also crate trained.

Story
Meeko was born 10/16/23 so he’s about to turn 3 yrs old. He has been with w me since he was 11 weeks old. He’s at the stage where he settles well indoor but still very much has puppy energy outside and with other dogs. It’s a fun stage for sure! I am looking for a home that can either provide him a lot of quality time/isn’t away from home for long periods of time or that has other dogs at home. Also someone who really enjoys walks/hikes/outdoors in general. We have worked with trainers in the past so he knows a lot of commands and he’s very smart and funny and listens good…however, like any good doodle he lovessss to bark and can be rambunctious and test boundaries too. Sometimes he will also bark at other dogs during our walks but he disengages quickly when I recall him. He loves people and enjoys being a Velcro dog and sweet potatoe treats. He will do anything for a good treat! He’s goofy, full of life, and loving so he would be a great addition w any family!
