Story
Rehoming due to my husband was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal cancer and between hospital stays and dr appts, I can't devote the time to my beautiful dog. Bogey is 3 years old and weighs 75 lbs. He is house broken, crate-trained, and knows some basic commands. He does not get on furniture but will get on your bed when you are not around, lol! Once you tell him down, he obeys and gets down. He does not counter surf either. He is crate trained but needs to only be in crate for overnight sleep. He will do well with someone who is home all day. He needs a fenced in yard to run in and needs to be trained because he barks at everything. We were working on leash walking and does well until there is a dog or person. He is very loving and will be your best friend. With some training he will be the best dog ever and he is really a beautiful dog. It breaks my heart to have to give him up but it's not fair to not be able to give him my time.

We post this with a heavy heart that we will have to rehome our sheepadoodle. Kobe has a calm, thoughtful personality and a heart full of love. He tends to enjoy his own space and carries a quiet, gentle presence, but when its time to relax he becomes the most affectionate cuddle companion. With his soft fluffy coat and soulful eyes, the perfect balance of independence and warmth happy to observe the world around him yet always ready to curl up beside his favorite people. Kobe is currently up-to-date with all his shots. He is a full breed sheepadoodle, three years old. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you

This handsome, scruffy boy is McTavish! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 3/14, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. McTavish is now keeping his paws crossed for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe McTavish as super sweet and attentive. He walks nicely on leash and will sit when asked. McTavish is a young adult, and he weighs 53 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet McTavish in kennel 47; his ID # is 17552. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Archie is a gorgeous 1.5 year old poodle mix that arrived to the shelter on 3/22. He was surrendered at no fault of his own. He could use a good grooming session but knows sit, down and is great on the leash! He’s up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and will be neutered upon adoption.
