SMART, SWEET & FUN: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 55 lbs. Hi, I'm Jazzy! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I've been having fun and soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers. I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and I am still learning how to play and love playing chase with them! If you have a nice doggie at home already, let's meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / A home with kids 15+ that will follow the guidelines related to food and bones could be a good match, so let's meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a big lovebug with a sweet, smart, and outgoing personality! I'm also an energetic, strong, active, and friendly girl who loves being with people and sharing my happy spirit. I was a bit of a scaredy-cat during my bath, but I was still through most of it, was very good for my ear cleaning, and was all smiles once I was back on the floor. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion with a big heart, I'm ready to meet you! It's just been discovered that I have some resource guarding related to my food and bones in tight spaces. I was in a tight space and nipped a person that came too close while I was eating, this is very manageable and the folks at Mostly Mutts will go over that with you. Also, I did not show this behavior at all in the off-site training program. / Energy level: 8-10, so I'll need lots of fun exercise with my new family! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience, so I've learned the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. I enjoy my training and am eager to please! Let's continue my training as there are more classes I can take through the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts as well as in the off-site training program. / My potty habits are good in the off-site training program. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love spending time with the nice volunteers, going for walks, and romping around the Mostly Mutts play yard. Honestly, if it involves people, I'm probably going to love it—I'm happiest when I'm with my humans and being active! I'm learning that toys are fun and I'm particularly enjoying hard balls. / Other than being unsure during my bath and harsh words or being treated harshly (I'm a gentle, sensitive soul), I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future.
