Thank you for your interest in Benny. His life didn’t get off to the easiest start — likely born in a puppy mill, Benny had very little exposure to the world around him. When a family brought him home, they quickly realized they didn’t have the skills to support his fears, and Benny struggled. That’s when SPIN got the call to help. When we first met Benny, he was timid but curious — a dog who wanted to trust, if only someone would give him the time and space to do so. And slowly but surely, that’s exactly what he’s been learning in his foster home. Benny has always been a sensitive dog, particularly around unfamiliar people and stimulating situations. With time, routine, and calm handling, he forms deep bonds and becomes loyal, affectionate, and playful with those he trusts.

I was lucky to meet kind rescuers and now I am ready to being a new chapter of my life!   MY PERSONALITY I am a very playful, energetic young puppy who loves meeting people and dog friends! I like eating and playing! I’m still growing so there’s a lot I’m not familiar with yet, but I am learning! I have a lot of curiosity and like exploring. I look forward to exploring the world with you!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I love meeting people and will show you my belly when we first meet! I can be pet and held easily. · With Dogs: I love saying hi to new dog friends! I am friendly and like to play with dogs of all sizes, and I do better with the support of another dog friend. · With Cats: I haven’t met cats yet but I’m sure I’ll love them too! (Cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit)   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have high energy level – I like to enjoy my time outdoors before coming inside to snuggle! I can get excited on walks and may pull on the leash at times, but I like to follow where you want to go!   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard food from people or dogs and I rarely bark! I’m not too familiar with kennels, so I can get a bit scared when I am placed in one.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
