Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). Odin is an 8 week old male sheltie/border collie mix who weighs 10 pounds. During rescuing other animals, we came across this box with a free puppies sign. Fearful of what might happen to them in the wrong hands, we stopped to inquire. We made contact with the owner to ask about the puppies mom and dad as well. We were told the Dad was just a stray that roams. We viewed the mom was on a chain weighing only 30 pounds herself. We then asked to have her too and the owner gladly agreed. Surprisingly, these puppies are super social, sucking up the love and attention they are now getting in our care. We can not wait to show them what it is like to be spoiled rotten.
