As a Rescue do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Meet KIKI this SWEET PRINCESS is dog friendly! She is in a shelter at no fault of her’s , her humans let her down. She will be fully vetted before adoption. She is looking for a family the will love and care for her and not let her down again. This princess would love you cuddle and go for a walk with you!   Meet Nala — a 41-pound, 7-year-young Corgi mix who somehow missed the memo about “acting her age.” Honestly, we’re pretty sure she’s more like 2 or 3.   Nala is all about fun, movement, and people. She loves playing chase with other dogs, greeting everyone she meets like a long-lost friend, and soaking up attention whenever it’s available (sometimes by enthusiastically jumping up to say hello — she’s working on that!). She’s also polishing up her leash skills, but her joyful spirit makes every walk an adventure.   Due to instability in her previous home, her family made the loving decision to give Nala the chance at a calmer, happier life — one filled with peace, play, and laughter. And that’s exactly what this girl brings to the table.   Nala does best with older children who can match her energy and not mind her zest for life. She’s crate trained, great with other dogs, and if you’ve got squirrels or rabbits in your yard… well, let’s just say she considers that a bonus feature. &#239&#184&#143   Her black-and-tan markings are beautiful, and those ears — almost standing straight up, with a charming little flop forward — give her a look that’s impossible not to smile at.   Nala’s motto? “Smile everywhere you go!” And she truly lives it.   Interested in adopting this happy girl? Story
Meet Bear.  Bear and his siblings were part of an unwanted litter living beneath the front porch of a rural Tennessee home. Concerned neighbors noticed the puppies were not confined and that no one was caring for them. Fearing for their safety, especially after learning they were not being fed regularly, a neighbor intervened and rescued the puppies just before snow and ice swept through Middle Tennessee.   The puppies are now healthy, happy, and ready for their forever families to find them. Bear is a wonderful guy.  He is the biggest puppy in the litter and a true gentle giant.  Bear is a mix of Collie, Australian Cattle Dog and Blue Heeler.  He is 13 weeks old and just a love bug.  Bear will follow  you around until you pick him up and give him a big kiss.  After that he is happy to join his siblings in a game of ball or tug of war.  He really enjoys playing with his brothers and sister as well as the other dogs in his foster home.  This big boy even sleeps with the resident cats. Bear is working on potty training and has it almost mastered.  He just needs to remember why he went outside. He  is sometimes to busy wondering where you are to get 'things' done.  Bear is crate-trained and spends time in an inside pen when no one is home to watch him.   Bear is neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations, and microchipped.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application, please get in touch with Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Bear is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)    February 3, 2026, 5:45 pm
