Meet Regina, a beautiful 4-year-old parti-colored Standard Poodle who is finally getting the chance to enjoy life as a beloved companion instead of a puppy producer. Now retired from a puppy mill, Regina has come to Misty Eyes to begin her journey toward the happy forever home she deserves.Like many retired breeder dogs, Regina is still learning about the world around her. While she can be nervous at first, she warms up quickly and shows her sweet, friendly personality once she feels safe. She’s not as unsocialized as many mill dogs, but she will still need a patient and understanding adopter who can help her continue to build confidence and learn “how to be a dog.” Regina would do best with someone experienced with puppy mill survivors or someone willing to give her the time, kindness, and gentle guidance she needs to blossom into the loving companion she was always meant to be. Story
Dood is a sweet 3 year old labradoodle. We got him as a puppy so he’s been around kids his whole life. We also have a cat so he’s used to being around cats. No history of any sort of aggression. I work 2 jobs and do not have as much time devoted to him as he needs. He deserves better.
