Story
Meet Harlow who`s ready to steal your heart-one treat at a time! She already knows her basics like sit, down, and paw, and she takes treats gently like a true lady. She`s looking for a calm, home where she can settle in, be loved and have a family to call her own, she has `oodles` of love to give. This sensitive soul does best with thoughtful dog introductions, daily leash walks, and she wouldnt mind a fenced yard to call her own. She is currently in foster care and doing great with the numerous dogs and cat, she is rooming with. Unfortunately what she makes up for in personality, she is somewhat missing in the health department. She has sensitive skin( we suspect allergies), so a hypo or a sensitive skin diet is recommended and occasional baths will help as well. Her hips are not good, we diagnosing her with hip dyplasia. She is not showing any clinical signs of the disease but she will need low impact, moderate exercise and joint supplementation should be started such as, glucosamine and omega fatty acids. Pain management or drugs that help reduce arthritis symptoms would also be needed, since there is not way to reverse the disease, only to minimize and manage it. Harlow is definitely worth the effort and money, that will be required of her new home. She is`love` in dog form.

Story
Meet Muskwa, a big, bouncy adolescent pup whose name means `bear` in Cree! This Husky Shepherd mix is full of energy and is looking for an active home that can keep both his body and brain busy. Enrichment, exercise, and tons of rewards will help him continue to grow into the most wonderful dog!Like many young pups, Muskwa is still learning his manners, especially keeping “four on the floor” and using more polite ways to communicate than his mouth. He’s working on bite inhibition and will need adopters committed to positive reinforcement and redirection as he grows into his best self. He is very treat and toy motivated, so make sure your treat pouch and ball collection never run dry!Muskwa has lived with children before, but due to his size and excitement, he’d do best with older kids. He has also successfully lived with a cat and may do well with another dog, as he’s had positive social experiences with them in the past. He can be a bit wary of new people and touch at first, especially with men, but will quickly lean in for full-body pets and brushing. Muskwa is eager to please and eager to learn, but just needs some help getting there! We do know that he’s good in the car, sleeps well through the night, knows a few basic commands and did great with house training in his former foster home, and will have more skills down pat in no time! If you are open to sharing your home and heart with a big, goofy teddy bear, Muskwa might be your guy!Muskwa is:- open to older kids- open to cats, slow intros required- open to dogs pending successful intro

Cinnamon is big on the cuddles and would love to snuggle up with you on the couch, but he still gets super excited when hears the W-A-L-K word. Cinnamon has wonderful house manners - he`s house trained, doesn`t chew on furniture and won`t steal items off your counter. He does feel most comfortable around humans that can match his chill energy. Overly excited little ones can be a bit too exciting. Cinnamon is a firm believer that he is a lap dog, and that human beds are meant to be shared. He likes to follow you from room to room - wherever you are, Cinnamon wants to be there too. He`s also done well with a small dog and may be a great match for your resident pup.
