Story
Meet this sweet 2-year-old female Shepherd-Collie mix! She’s gentle, and responds well to verbal cues like “sit,” taking treats politely. This shy girl thrives in a calm, quiet environment and needs an adult-only home (16+). She’ll do best with an active, structured lifestyle and a patient owner who can provide daily leash walks, a securely fenced backyard, and ongoing bonding time. She is not suited for off-leash parks until she has bonded with her new family and they have observed multiple one on one dog interactions with her. In the shelter environment she has shown that she is either slow to warm up to interact or not wanting to interact or play with other dogs so she may prefer being the only dog in the home or a calm quiet appropriate dog maybe a good match for her. Her new family should be prepared for regular grooming and committed to attending a basic manners class or private behavior training. If you’re ready to offer a loving, structured home and help her build confidence, she could be the perfect companion for you!Size: Small/Medium 14.2kg/ 31lbsChildren: 16+ recommendedDogs: May do best with dogs of similar size and playstyleCats: Not tested with cats, slow introductions recommended

Story
A little bit about Sunny:- Unknown history with children; all interactions should be carefully supervised by an adult- Unknown history with cats and other small animals; all introductions should be done slowly over a period of time- Unknown history with other dogs; potential for another dog in home pending successful introductionMeet Sunny, a young German Shepherd with a bright name and an even brighter personality! At just one year old, Sunny is still growing into himself and learning the ropes of how to be a truly pupstanding citizen. He came to the shelter through no fault of his own and is now looking for a committed home ready to help him continue his education.Sunny will thrive with a family who can provide plenty of mental and physical enrichment, along with positive-reinforcement training to help channel his intelligence and energy in all the right ways. He’s an eager learner who enjoys having a job to do and benefits from structure, consistency, and clear communication. When it’s eventually time to relax, Sunny is all about affection (especially chest and neck scritches, which he absolutely loves). With guidance, patience, and lots of love, Sunny is sure to grow into a loyal, confident companion.

Story
Age: 3 yearsWeight: 39 kgA bit about Nilah:- has lived with children; all interactions should be supervised- unknown history with cats; slow, supervised introductions required- only dog in home (required)- history of resource guardingNilah loves to meet new people! She`ll start wiggling and squealing and tugging to go say hi! It`ll be a great day if you stop and give her some pets! Although Nilah loves attention, she becomes nervous with restraint or forceful handling! Her perfect family will be patient, and prepared to help her work on the skills she needs to get more comfortable with vet visits and grooming. Nilah has lived with kids, and may do well with your resident little ones, but she`d like to be the only dog in your home as she`s not a fan of other pups! If you love pitties then you`ll love this sweet face! Visit her today!
