He already knows sit, down, and paw, and he’s eager to keep learning—especially when treats are involved! He absolutely loves people and is very friendly, though he can be a bit rambunctious and is currently working on mastering polite greetings. Because of his enthusiasm and size, a home with older children is recommended. He would thrive with an active family that enjoys spending time outdoors and can give him plenty of exercise, structure, and positive training. She lives by the philosophy that strangers are just friends you haven`t met yet, and will wiggling and squealing and tugging to go say hi when she sees new people. Whether she`s cuddling on the couch, playing ball, heading out to explore, Nilah brings the enthusiasm - she never does anything half-way! Nilah can be uncomfortable with restraint or forceful handling, so she`s looking for a patient family to help her gain confidence with vet visits and grooming. Nilah has lived with kids, and may do well with your resident little ones, but she`d like to be the only dog in your home as she`s not a fan of other pups! Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as she is not available to meet on site.Age: 6 yearsWeight: 31.1 kgA bit about Aquila:- limited history with children; all interactions should be supervised- unknown history with cats; introductions should be slow and supervised- has lived with dogs before; dogs okay pending successful introduction (will do best with calm dogs that can respect space)Meet Aquila! She says it`s good to see ya! This sweet middle aged pittie lady is seeking a family that enjoys the same things as her - relaxed walks, snuggles on the couch, snoozing in the sun, and food! As you might be able to tell from her picture, Miss Aquila is a bit of a foodie who unfortunately needs to lose some weight. Not only does she enjoy her kibble, but she`s also happy to try fruits and veggies as a snack. Aquila is very shy with new people, but she has lived with children before and will probably do well in any home that can give her some space until she trusts you and wants to go in for all the cuddles. Aquila foster family described her as intelligent (she`ll do anything for kibble), perfectly house trained, and very sweet. She does have arthritis, and can be uncomfortable with her paws being touched because of that, but she is otherwise a healthy middle aged lady ready to find her people!
