**Astro is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**Explore the universe... with Astro by your side! This big, goofy, handsome boy is an active, loyal adventurer looking to be the center of your solar system! While he might not take you as far as the moon, Astro does think walks are the best part of the day, and is eager to go on lots of big adventures with you. With a brain the size of Saturn, Astro thrives on mental enrichment and daily training. He enjoys chasing balls and food enrichment like kong toys. This loving, loyal pup also adores belly rubs and snuggles with friends. He is cautious of new people, so benefits from lots of patience and respect for his body language as he settles in. Astro will do best with older kids or adults, because he doesn`t always realize how big he is. However, Astro has shown us that he would probably love to have another energetic pup in his future home! He loves attention, but sometimes his attempts to get some cuddles can feel as chaotic as the storms in Jupiter`s red spot! He`s also still learning not to taste-test every exciting thing he finds on walks, and will benefit from continued training in that area. Astro will thrive in a family with older kids or adults who has experience with high energy breeds. He`s already crate-trained and house-trained, and ready to shine as bright as Sirius (the dog star!) in his forever family!A bit about Astro:- older kids (10+) recommended- has lived with cats; confident, dog-savvy cats recommended due to chase behaviour- dogs okay pending successful introduction, could do very well with another energetic pup!

Introducing the adorable little Buster! This sweet, affectionate pup is ready to find a family to call his own. He has fantastic recall, sticks close to his people, and would happily be your little shadow all day long!Buster absolutely adores kids and lights up around them! He’s also met other dogs and loved every second of playtime, so he may thrive in a home with another friendly, confident pup to help show him the ropes. We`re not sure about cats or small animals, but he definitely has potential for befriending smaller furry friends with slow, supervised intros! While Buster can be a little nervous around men at first, he’s already learning that people can be kind and safe. With patience, reassurance, and lots of love, this gentle boy’s confidence continues to grow every day.If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with endless affection to give, Buster may be your perfect match!Buster is:- good with kids- unknown with cats and small animals, slow intros required- open to dog pending successful intro, very positive interactions with others

Just be sure that you`re ready to help teach Sadie some proper doggy manners as she can get over-excited and try to jump when meeting new people.Sadie is also a very active dog that would thrive in a home that is just as busy and energetic as she is. Be sure that you`re prepared to offer her all of the walks, training, and enrichment she needs to stay at her happiest and healthiest! Speaking of her new family, Sadie should be the only pet in home as she does not get along well with other animals. Story
Imagine being just six weeks old, living outdoors in a rural community during freezing winter temperatures—surrounded by ten other dogs, competing for food, warmth, and survival. That was Link’s beginning. It’s a heartbreaking start, but it’s only one small chapter of his story. Link came into care with Megan's Rescue in the dead of winter—tiny, unsure, and still learning that the world could be kind. Since then, he has done nothing but grow. Now a young adult, Link is patiently waiting for the family he’s always deserved. Link is a happy, gentle soul with a playful streak. He adores his toys and has a special love for carrying sticks along on his adventures. He travels wonderfully in the car, is house trained, and crate trained—making him an easy companion to welcome into a home. He does well with other dogs, though he can show some resource-guarding tendencies, so continued guidance and structure will help him thrive. Because of his rough start, Link isn’t 100% confident in every situation yet—but he is eager to learn, eager to please, and highly food motivated, which makes training a rewarding experience for both of you. Above all else, Link loves people. He’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s by your side, building trust and soaking up love. Link has survived his hardest days. Now he’s ready for his best ones—could that be with you? 🐾
