Venus can be shy at first, especially around unfamiliar men, but with gentle introductions, a predictable setting, and plenty of encouragement, she warms up quickly. When she decides you’re her person, she becomes wonderfully affectionate, playful, and eager for attention. Her tail wags, her eyes soften, and she leans right in for love. This girl is motivated by all the good things - tasty treats, fun toys, and warm affection - which makes her a great candidate for continued training and socialization. She’s still working on her leash manners, but with her eagerness to please and her love of rewards, she has so much potential to keep learning and growing. Venus is looking for a home with adults and teens 13+ who can help her feel secure and give her the steady support she needs. She prefers to be the only dog in the home so she can soak up all the attention and continue building her confidence at her own pace. **WELCOME BACK FRANKY** Phoenix AZ. We would like to welcome Franky back to our care. Franky spent a few months having wonderful and what he thought was fur-ever adventures with his new family. Well sadly those adventures came to an end, and so did their "love" for this amazing boy! So Franky is back by absolutely no fault of his own. He spent time at the cabin, had a sister, went to the Grand Canyon, saw an elk......he did nothing wrong. When you get a dog....especially a puppy....consistency, training and firm boundaries are the keys to success....no matter what dog it is. Franky is an adorable goofy boy who is: *Potty trained *Loves to play-and even throws the ball in the air for himself when there is no one there to do it for him *His favorite game is wrestle and chew *Great on walks *Loves the car *Sleeps through the night *He so VERY much wants to be with humans-he whines when they leave so we are working on his crate training *Very treat motivated *Great with other dogs *Sits so beautifully for treats-he just wants to please his humans! Franky weighs in at 50lbs, he is just 9mos old, fully vetted, altered, microchipped and UTD on shots. He is a gorgeous mix of APBT and Doberman Pinscher.
