Story
We got her as a puppy from the Maricopa Animal Shelter, and she is now one year old. She is a loving, energetic dog who would do best with a family that has time to spend with her and space for her to run, since she absolutely loves being outside and staying active. She is very affectionate, loyal, and sweet, and she bonds closely with the people she’s around. She is extremely friendly with everyone she meets and does great with cats, dogs, and humans of all ages. She has good recall and already knows several tricks, including sit, high five, and spin. She also knows how to fetch and loves playing games. One of her favorite things is getting belly rubs. Overall, she is a cute, loving, loyal, and social dog who would thrive in a home that can give her attention, exercise, and lots of love.

Story
Meet Everly! This sweet girl was e-listed at MCACC for being shy and shut down in the shelter. She’s a total sweetheart, but the shelter was just so overwhelming for her and she was terrified. Our good friends at Heart of Infinity originally pulled her, but one of our board members is fostering her and she is now in our care and still looking for her forever home! Everly has come so far since leaving the shelter. She is a wonderful pup and will make a great addition to many homes. She is both crate trained and potty trained. She loves dogs of all sizes and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Thanks to the socialization work of her foster, she loves car rides and associates them with all the best things in life, like going to the park! She also loves swimming. Everly has spent a lot of time with children and absolutely loves to play with them too. She’s even met cats – one hissed and swatted at her when she was checking him out, and she just cowered down. Like we said, she truly doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She can be a bit of a goofball when she gets going in her play – she really is so endearing. Because it’s taken a little work to boost her confidence since leaving the shelter, her ideal home would have at least one other dog for her to play with. She’d be great for a family since she loves children, but she would honestly do great in a wide variety of homes. Apply today to meet this sweet girl! Story
Logan is a 3-year-old pup who came to us from MCACC where he was e-listed for being too scared and shut down to even be taken out on leash. Thankfully, with the help of shelter staff and volunteers, we were able to gain Logan’s trust and he made it to safety. He still has moments of uncertainty and will benefit from continued socialization, but he warming up quickly in the foster home where he spent the first couple months with us. Logan is sadly now in boarding and needs a new foster home urgently so he doesn't deteriorate again with fear and lose the progress he had made!  While with his foster, Logan settled in quickly and enjoyed life as part of the pack. He’s playful, affectionate, and always eager to be near his people — sometimes a little too eager, as he is still learning about personal space! This affectionate guy loves attention and has been known to gently paw or whine when he’s hoping for more cuddles. He’s high energy and does great in an environment where he can play, run, and stay engaged. Logan was working on his manners still — like counter surfing, leash pulling, and marking — but he’s been responsive to verbal correction and treat redirection, and learns quickly with consistency. He does well in a crate, plays nicely with both small and large dogs, and genuinely just wants to be loved and involved in everything you’re doing. He may be shy and scared at first, but don't let him fool you - he truly want to get to know you and be a good boy! Logan would do great in an active household — whether it’s a home with other playful pups, or anyone who’s ready for his energy and a lot of love. Logan is still learning just how big he is, so only older kids with awareness of his “happy feet” would be recommended. He has not been tested with cats. Logan is hesitant to get into cars, but once seated inside, he is a great passenger. Logan is excited for someone who will love his big heart, his big energy, and his big personality. https://azhuskyrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Onyx is a striking, intelligent, and loyal dog who forms deep bonds with his person. He is observant, alert, and naturally protective—qualities that make him an incredible companion in the right environment. He does best with someone who understands dogs that need structure, consistency, and clear leadership. Onyx is not a “go-with-the-flow” dog or a good fit for first-time owners. He thrives when his human is confident, calm, and willing to invest time into routine, training, and mental stimulation. Onyx would do best in a stable home with an experienced dog owner who values boundaries, patience, and long-term commitment. A calm household is ideal. He is not suited for impulse adoption or situations where expectations are unclear. At this time, I am prioritizing foster or foster-to-adopt placements so Onyx can transition slowly and successfully into his next home. My goal is not speed—it’s finding the right match for his well-being and future. If this description resonates call me
