Rehoming a Protective Pit Bull – Experienced Home Only We are looking for an experienced, adult-only home for our pit bull who needs firm structure, clear boundaries, and ongoing professional training. He is deeply loyal and affectionate with his owners and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. In the home, he is loving, attentive, and thrives on routine and leadership. His challenge is protective behavior, which has resulted in multiple bite incidents. Because of this, he is not suitable for homes with children, visitors, or frequent guests. He would do best with: • An experienced handler familiar with strong, protective breeds • A low-traffic household • Someone committed to professional behavioral training • Secure fencing and controlled environments This decision is heartbreaking, but safety — for him and for others — has to come first. We are committed to finding the right fit, not just any placement, and will be selective to ensure his future success.

Story
Maisie is a loving, cuddly, and energetic dog. We’ve had Maisie for 6 months after being rescued from the side of the road and have had her spayed, fully vaccinated, and trained by Come, Sit, Stay. Our Vet believes she’s a little over a year old and likely close to her full size (currently 50lbs). Maisie is house trained and happily sleeps in a crate every night for 8 hours with no accidents. Maisie LOVES to play fetch, go for walks, and being chased by our young kids. As our kids sports and activities have ramped up we’re unable to accommodate the amount of playing and attention Maisie deserves and needs. Maisie is ready for her forever home and to be at your side all day!!
