Ace and Archie are a bonded father/son pair who must stay together. Ace is 6 and Archie is 5. They have been together since Archie was born and rely heavily on each otherAce is deeply loyal, affectionate, and loves to cuddle. He has a big heart and a strong personality but needs significant work with manners and behavior. He is not a beginner dog and would do best with an experienced German Shepherd owner who can provide consistent structure and training.Archie is more mellow and gentle but slow to trust. Once he feels safe, he is incredibly devoted and calm.Both dogs are strong, high-energy shepherds who need work with leash skills, structure, and consistent handling. Due to repeated shoulder surgeries, I simply can’t give them the training. This decision is extremely difficult but comes from loveRehoming details: They will only be placed together. A $300 rehoming fee for the pair applies. A written agreement is required, and if placement does not work out, they must be returned to me

Story
Goose is a dog with a loving and loyal personality once he feels safe and comfortable. I rescued him about 5 years ago from a neglectful situation where he had been abandoned outside for nearly 2 years, and despite his difficult past, he has come a long way. He is affectionate, responsive, and happiest when close to his person. He thrives in a calm, structured environment with consistency and routine. He is comfortable with the family dogs he has known since coming into my care, but can be skittish around unfamiliar or high-energy dogs, so he may do best as the only pet. He does have anxiety and currently takes meds, which has helped him greatly. He has had 2 bite incidents, both occurring after being startled unexpectedly. Because of this, he would do best in an adult-only home or a quieter home without frequent chaos or overstimulation. This has been an incredibly difficult decision bc he is truly a sweet dog with so much spirit who deserves patience, understanding, and a stable home
