Tulip came to us from another rescue. She was dumped over their fence on Mother's Day heavily pregnant. She had her babies and they all got adopted but she continues to sit in rescue. The other rescue isn't suited for large breeds, so we've been waiting to get space in SSAR to get her over to us. She is fully vetted and ready for her forever home. She has been in a home with other dogs, and we are evaluating her with cats. She is hw positive, but her treatment is covered by the rescue.

Sadie is a very sweet dog, she’s about 10 months old, 60 pounds on the dot. She was raised with cats but doesn’t seem to get along with new cats. She can get along with other dogs but tends to get too hyper and too much for other dogs. She requires a lot of exercise but with the right owner can be a perfect dog. She has a lot of jealousy issues so being a single pet would probably be best for her.

Murphy is a 5 year old purebred American pit bull terrier who we adopted in New Mexico. Murphy is a loving, high-energy dog who enjoys play and attention. He loves to run around the yard chasing balls during the day, and will cuddle on the couch all afternoon with you. He loves to bask in the sun and is incredibly loyal to those he loves. He loves people but does struggle with anxiety around unpredictable behavior, so his ideal home would not include young children. Murphy can find other dogs overwhelming and is much happier and more relaxed when he is the king of his castle. We believe Murphy would do best as a single dog in a child-free home (or at least older than toddler-age) with experienced dog owners who can provide structure, stimulation, and a calm environment.

Haley is about two years old and has had at least three litters. She is a wonderfully sweet girl who has spent her short life making puppies and would like a turn to be a puppy. She loves nothing more than snuggling under the blanket with you and chewing on her rope toys. She walks well on a leash, will come when you call her, and has worked through her crate anxiety! Unfortunately, she doesn't know her name yet, but she is very food-motivated and is learning. She loves playing with other dogs, people, and kids but has shown some cat aggression. Due to past abuse, she doesn't like to be roughly grabbed from behind, so she may do better in a home with older children. Since Haley is a medium-sized dog, we recommend a home with a fenced-in backyard and/or plans for daily exercise and socialization.
