Story
Adorable Callie's story broke our hearts. In her previous life she was an ESA for her owner that sadly passed away, and was left to the other adult in the home, who was in a motorcycle accident and passed shortly after. She ended up in a high kill shelter and we swooped her off of the euthanasia list just in time. Now she is on the hunt for her new forever family in the PNW! Callie is great with other dogs, but may do better as an only dog as she can be a bit bossy in her own home with other dogs. She loves pack walks and being involved with other pups. She has been around cats and didn't seem to mind them. She does great with all people big and small! Spay, microchip, and current vaccines all included in her adoption fee. She is housetrained and good with kids. ROXY's story hasn’t been an easy one. This beautiful pup spent too long fending for herself, trying to get by without the love and care every dog deserves. While she was technically "owned", the owners didn't care for her, letting her get pregnant, and roam the streets. But even after all she’s been through, ROXY is still the sweetest girl. In our rescue, ROXY finally knows what kindness feels like and is soaking it all in — and giving it right back. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, resting her head on your lap, or greeting you with a happy tail wag, ROXY's favorite thing in the world is simply being loved. She is old enough to appreciate a good nap, but still young enough for playtime and leisurely walks. After everything she’s endured, ROXY is ready for her next chapter — one filled with belly rubs, soft blankets, and a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. Meet Butterball! This nakey boy is looking for a family with a little extra love in their hearts. Butterball waited in the shelter full of mange and completely naked before he moved to foster care. Now he spends his day wagging his tail, loving on other dogs, wrestling in the yard, and being happy all day. He loves to snuggle on the bed and enjoys his shirts. He is a super sweet boy that is grateful for his second chance. He has the BEST personality, squishy face, and is a great cuddler. Butterball is going through heartworm treatment (covered by the rescue in Meridian). He also has an unrelated heart disease that is being managed. He is a big lover, stage 5 clinger, and is just looking for someone that wants to give his sweet soul a family for the rest of his life. He is the best boy.
