Approved adopters can pick up at our rescue in Texarkana, TX or we can transport for a $75 fee to any of the locations on our transport route listed below.
Only the $75 transport fee is due up front to secure the adoption and transport.
Fritz and his 4 litter mates were born to their precious mother in the middle of August. Thankfully, it was hot in Texas when they were born because their mother had almost no hair as a result of her neglect and abandonment. In spite of her skin issues, she was so proud of her puppies and such a good mama. They loved her back which was something that she hadn't known in her young life. Mama found mercy and kindness and a home in New Boston, Texas. Her new owner contacted Greg King Canine Recovery and they were able to take Mama's litter in to their rescue. Mama is on medication for her skin issues which was primarily due to a lack of adequate nutrition. Now her puppies just need their forever homes. Latrell told mama, "We will take care of your babies until they get their homes just as you have yours now."
Based on physical traits and the expertise of our veterinarian, we believe that Fritz is a Weimaraner and American Staffordshire terrier mix. However, this is based on physical traits. We have not done a DNA test on this puppy.
Each puppy has received a minimum of 3 puppy vaccinations and will have a health certificate indicating he/she has been examined by a licensed veterinarian and has been cleared for adoption and transport. In Texas, puppies receive their Rabies vaccination, tag & certificate at 12 weeks. You will receive a folder with veterinary information to take to your vet.
Only the $75 transport fee is due to secure transport from our rescue in Texarkana, Texas to one of the 7 locations on our transport route. The $150 adoption fee is not due until you pick him/her up on the transport date at the location you select. You also have the option to designate someone else to pick up your pet.

Greg King Canine Recovery Dog Rescue is located at 484 Farren Road in Texarkana, Texas 75503. Once a month, we transport all pre-adopted dogs and puppies to the following 7 cities because all of the shelters in our area are kill shelters, so we try to save all that we can by getting them adopted and transporting them to their new homes. These 7 cities are currently on our transport route.
