Story
You wouldn't think as much personality and joyfulness could fit into a wiggly and happy 32-pound, 9½-month-old good girl, but Juniper is proof that it can! She is so lovable and believes she is a lap dog! Snuggling seems to be a part of her DNA! Juniper would be happiest to be the only furbaby in her new home. She loves attention and is so connected to her people that we want her to be totally content on her own. If kiddos in the home are about 8ish and up, we think she'd love to be their fursister! Going for walks and car rides, cuddling, and running are a few of her favorite activities. Tennis balls and stuffed animals are her choice of toys but blankies are always #1 in Juniper's mind. She loves them! She's such a smart girl! Juniper knows how to sit, lay down, come and stay. She also is a great fetch-player! A home without kitty friends would make her happiest! Juniper is spayed; come adopt her!

Story
Okay, everyone...this guy is the best of the best...Meet Noah. He's a stout, solid boy who has the best chewing ASMR noises you will ever hear. Another totally loveable, endearing thing about Noah is his neck...he's so broad that his neck blends right into his head and shoulders! A third awesome thing about Noah is his manners... He sits politely and takes treats so gently. Noah knows not to jump and he is so intentional about not getting in your space but, on the other paw, will hop up next to you on the couch if invited and will ask for snuggles and affection. Noah is a professional snuffler...what we mean is that there is not a single kibble that has escaped his sniffer! AKA...he loves to sniff for treats/kibbles through snufflemats and doesn't stop until he has sniffed the last kibble in the mat! It's such a great form of enrichment for him! Older kiddos, maybe 10ish and up, would be great for Noah! When we introduced him to kitty friends, Noah was respectful and would look to us for redirection. He was a very good boy! He may do well with a proper introduction! As far as dogs go, he may do well depending on the dog. We are still introducing him to different personality types to see who he may mesh well with. Noah is about one year old, is about 64 pounds and he is neutered. He's such a derpy dude; we can't not smile when around Noah!

Story
Sweet senior Shadow, through no fault of her own, is looking for a second chance with a new family. Her previous family loved her very much but were unable to continue caring for her. Shadow is currently in a foster home; here is a note from her foster mom: "Shadow is technically a senior gal, but you can’t mention it to her, she still has quite a bit of pep in her step! She’s got some sass and chattiness but it’s very much her playful nature. Shadow is totally good to have smaller, easy-going male dogs as furbros. She currently lives with five other smaller dogs! Shadow is very curious of cats; as long as they tolerate her, she cohabitates very well. She has lived with kiddos ages 1-10 years old. A fenced-in yard to roam in is something she has always had, so she would enjoy something similar, or some patience to work on leash manners. Shadow knows no personal space and believes your space is hers and she’ll throw herself across your lap for close cuddles. The best thing about her is that, although compact, she is a full tank of happiness, no matter what! She weighs 47 pounds so she's not too big and isn't too small. Her absolute most “favoritest” thing in the world is when you let her believe she’s a lap dog, and just rub her belly! She knows sit, lay down, and will take treats nicely, especially when you remind her. And she loves treats! She LOVES running around in the yard, especially in the snow. You’ll find her basking in the sun in the summer. She’ll leave you alone for a while when you give her a bully stick, but you can expect her to join you once she’s done. She likes soft but durable dog toys but does like to take the stuffies apart, so heads up! Shadow needs a second lease on life, at no fault of her own. Although she’s 9 years old and will be 10 this summer, she’s still got plenty of life left in her, and she deserves a family that will take a chance with her because she’s so full of love." -Shadow's foster mom. Shadow is spayed and is waiting for a family to welcome her into their home. Please email us at pets@michianapets.org if you'd like to adopt her.
