Story
One year old Jacob found himself in a Texas shelter with a toe injury. He has recovered well and made his way up to Michigan in search of his forever home. He is all ears and all cute! Jacob gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He is crate and house trained and an all around smart boy, typical of his breed. He is a little shy at first,  but comes right out of his shell after a bit. Because of his shyness, a physical fenced yard  that is higher than 4 feet high is required.  Jacob is 40 lbs (and growing), neutered, up to date in shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.00. If you have questions about him, please email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Ready to apply for him, visit our website at www.projecthoperescue.org.December 29, 2025, 4:21 pm

Story
Meet Chad!  Chad is a 3-year-old Pit Mix with a big smile, a goofy personality, and an even bigger heart. I weight 43 lbs. This lovable guy is always ready to make you laugh and will happily trade his silliness for snuggles any day. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be right by your side—whether that’s on the couch or tagging along for your next adventure. He is very friendly, does great with kids, and is an all-around happy, people-loving boy. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown. He has a good amount of energy, so he’ll thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, playtime, and keeping him engaged. The best part? Chad will be heading into RPSM’s prison training program, where he’ll be learning his manners and polishing up his skills to be the best companion possible. He’s already amazing—this training will just make him shine even more. Chad is neutered and UTD on all his vaccines. HW, FT, and has a microchip of my own. RPSM recommends children 6 years and older. Chad will require a fenced in yard either physical or underground; if you are interested in adopting Chad, please go to www.rpsm.org to fill out an application. Chad's adoption fee is $300.   ##2601344##

Story
Hello meet Cyrus. He is a very outgoing and silly boy. He absolutely loves to play explore and he is eager to learn. He is highly intelligent, within just one week he was kennel trained and learned how to sit and shake. He is fully potty trained and loves having other dogs to play with. He is very food driven which makes training even easier. He is amazing on a leash and loves his daily walks. He loves outdoor adventures whether it’s hiking running or a beach day! He loves to swim. He also just simply likes going on car rides and being included. A fenced in yard is needed for him to run and play. After a long day he loves to get belly and neck scratches and snuggle up in bed.Cyrus was rescued from Texas and at just ten pounds he had a broken femur and ribs. He made a miraculous recovery and you can hardly tell he was ever hurt. It does not stop him from running and jumping! He is still learning his manners and we are working on jumping as he doesn’t realize just how big he is yet! As a Shepherd he needs someone willing to commit the time and energy into him and he will give you back endless love and loyalty! He is truly the perfect companion. He is also great with children. He loves to play ball and is ready for a home that can give him the time and energy needed for his activity level.Cyrus is about 10 months old and weighs around 90 pounds. He is neutered, has a microchip and all of his vaccines! His adoption fee is $350.00.
