STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application.  Hi! My name is Strawberry! I gave birth to 11 adorable merle babies! I am now looking for my forever family! I am petite 40lbs, I am VERY gentle and sweet. I am a little shy at first but very gentle. I take treats nicely, love to cuddle and give hugs. I used to live on a chain and my foster mom saved me JUST in time before I delivered. I cant wait to have my own family to love. My foster mom says I deserve it. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an app asap.  All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped. AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess.   BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter! If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application.  Hi! I was born 3/2/26! I am one of a litter of 11! My momma is the sweetest! We are guessed to be a mix of pitty and catahoula leopard dog, giving us our wide range of patterns and colors! We are 7 weeks old and now looking for our forever homes!   Our adoption fee is $350, $50 is refundable spay/neuter deposit. I come with my vetting up to date, microchipped, some food, leash, collar, treats and toy! I also am up to date on deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Fill out an app asap to be considered.  All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped.
