Story
Meet Sage! This 4-year-old female Pitbull is a powerhouse of fun, joy, and personality. If you are looking for an active, happy-go-lucky companion who will keep you laughing and moving, Sage is your girl.
About Sage
Energy & Athletics: Sage is athletic as all get out! She loves running, chasing balls, and playing hard. While she’s obsessed with the chase, she’s currently working on the whole "bringing it back" part of fetch—right now, it’s all about the thrill of the run!
Play Style: She is a world-class toy wrecker who loves whipping her toys around to fulfill her toy drive. If you need someone to help test the durability of heavy-duty playthings, Sage is ready for the job.
Manners & Training: Sage is completely house-trained and crate-trained. On the leash, she has plenty of enthusiasm and tends to pull, so she’d love a dedicated partner to help her brush up on her loose-leash walking manners.
Sage has also safely lived with cats in previous homes.
Personality: She is a quintessential, wiggly, happy-go-lucky Pittie with big feelings and a massive personality. She meets the world with open paws and an eager heart.
Ideal Home
Sage would thrive in an active home that can match her energy and keep her engaged both mentally and physically. Whether it’s playing fetch in a fenced yard, going on long adventures, or channeling her toy drive into safe outlets, she is ready to be your ultimate sidekick.
Are you ready to give this high-spirited girl the active home and guidance she deserves?
Sage's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue’s care.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.northernlakesrescue.org
