Story
Wiggliest, happiest, cuddliest, silliest, sweetest, and highly affectionate! We believe her to be around 2 yrs old. She is great with cats, dogs, puppies, children. Every new person she meets is immediately her new best friend. She walked up to us from the alleyway behind our home on July 18th. She was likely used for puppies and abandoned near our property. It appears that she lived outside and was severely neglected. We are partnering with Hearts Alive Rescue to find her a loving home. She is the most well-behaved baby we have ever had the pleasure of fostering! She is GREAT inside the home! Absolutely wonderful etiquette. She is excited every morning and winds down for bed every night. She is microchipped, spayed, vaccinated, and her neglected coat is getting better by the day. I will update this post and add more photos soon!

Story
Rosie is 6 years old and will be 7 this coming May. She was given to us when she was 18 months old. She loves cuddles and being inside. She loves going to the dog parks and meeting new dogs! She is potty trained and will let you know when she has to go out and when she is hungry. She is a very curious dog as well, her nickname is “ noise Rosie” she does have a skin condition that we have tried to control for many years now. Unfortunately we cannot keep her any longer. We recently moved and the landlord refuses to allow her to stay with us even after several attempts and begging on my end. She’s a good guard dog and will bark at strangers but she has never bitten anyone! She’s a lover more than a fighter.

🐾 Meet Sable. 🐾 Some dogs fall in love with people first. Sable fell in love with dogs. ❤️ When Sable came to SNARL, she was heavily pregnant, completely shut down, and terrified of the world. She raised her puppies, watched them all find homes, and now it’s finally her turn. Dogs are Sable’s safe place. She absolutely adores them, and a confident, friendly canine companion is a must for her forever home. When another dog trusts you, Sable starts to believe you might be safe too. Her trust takes time, patience, and consistency — but she is making incredible progress. At a recent adoption event, she amazed us. This normally shy girl calmly walked on leash, stayed close to her handler, surrounded herself with other dogs, and chose to stay near people instead of hiding. She may not ask for cuddles, but simply choosing to be close is a huge victory. 🥹 Sable needs a foster home while she continues her journey, and ultimately a forever home with a confident, friendly dog, a secure backyard with tall walls, and patient humans who understand that she may never be a cuddly lap dog — and that’s okay. Crates can still be scary, and she may experience some separation anxiety as she adjusts. She isn’t being difficult; she’s learning what safety feels like. Sable doesn’t need to be the center of attention. Give her a safe yard, some treats, a confident doggy sibling, and people who celebrate the little victories, and you’ll get to watch something truly special unfold. 🐾💕 Sable needs a foster — could you be the safe place she’s been waiting for?
