Story
Meet Willy, a charming 1.5-year-old, 65-pound pit bull terrier mix on a quest for his perfect match – a dedicated, committed foster who will help him blossom into his best self. Willy's journey began in the bustling streets of New York City, where he was discovered locked away in an abandoned van. Fortunately, fate intervened when the fire department rescued him, and one compassionate firefighter instantly bonded with him. Under the firefighter's care, Willy received the love, medical attention, and newfound experiences he longed for. But life took an unexpected turn when circumstances forced his guardian to part ways with him, leading Willy to our doorstep. Willy isn't seeking adoption just yet. Instead, he eagerly awaits a long-term commitment from a compassionate foster who is willing to invest in his continued growth and development. This dedicated individual will partner with our expert trainer to nurture Willy's potential, helping him thrive in a loving home environment.  As an added bonus, Dr. Lofaro at Emerson Animal Hospital has offered one year free medical visits and services.  Willy's story is one of resilience and hope – an underdog tale where second chances and unwavering support are boundless. He's ready to embark on this transformative journey, confident that there are humans out there who won't give up on him. Will you be the one to show him that he's truly worth it? Story
Meet Molly, a loving mother dog who has devoted herself to caring for her five puppies. At 34 pounds and about 1-2 years old, Molly is underweight due to the incredible effort she puts into nurturing her little ones while a stray. However, she's now focusing on gaining the weight she needs to be at her healthiest. Molly's heart is as big as they come. She's incredibly sweet-natured, always showing affection by smiling at those around her. While she's currently solely focused on her puppies, Molly is likely to get along well with other dogs once she's free to interact with them.  Molly's temperament is gentle and loving, but since she hasn't been tested with kids yet, it's unknown how she'll react. However, given her sweet nature, she's expected to be an excellent family companion once her motherly duties are fulfilled. Molly may be busy being a devoted mom, but she's eagerly looking forward to the day when she can transition into the role of a cherished family pet. With her nurturing instincts and loving disposition, Molly is ready to shine as the main star in her forever home, bringing joy and warmth to all who welcome her into their lives. Is thriving since being rescued and has put on some weight!  Molly's puppies are ready to be adopted, and she is too! She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Molly will arrive in NJ in the near future. Story
Introducing Juno, a charming two-year-old female German Shepherd mix weighing 44 pounds. Previously accustomed to both indoor and outdoor living, Juno's owners were unable to continue caring for her and surrendered her to Peace4Paws. Always optimistic, Juno eagerly anticipates sleeping indoors every night with her new family. One of Juno's most endearing qualities is her love for children. She spent countless hours playing with the 8-year-old granddaughter of her previous family. Juno's exuberance shines through as she gets excited and jumps up on you, but she does so with love. Her love for kids is evident, and she's sure to bring joy and laughter to any family environment. Despite lacking formal housebreaking training, Juno's intelligence suggests she'll quickly learn. She has a knack for indicating when she needs to go outside, often gently nudging the bedroom door to wake her humans. Juno has been spayed and is up to date on all her vaccines. Take the first step by applying for adoption at www.peace4paws.org. Please note that applications must be submitted via laptop or computer.
