Story
Meet Thor Thor is a gentle, soulful German Shepherd with a heart as big as his paws—and a story that will stay with you. This incredibly sweet boy was found all alone, slightly underweight, wearing a collar with his name, but no number to tell anyone where he belonged or how he ended up fending for himself. No way to trace his past… just a quiet, kind soul waiting for someone to notice him. Despite whatever he’s been through, Thor has nothing but love to give. He appears to be in his golden years, with a soft dusting of gray on his muzzle that only adds to his quiet, dignified beauty. Thor doesn’t ask for much—just to be near you. He will gently follow you from room to room, content just to lay nearby, finding comfort in your presence. After being alone, it’s clear that what he wants most in this world is companionship. Thor is house-trained, doesn’t jump, and has a calm, easygoing nature that makes him such a peaceful presence in the home. He gets along well with other dogs, and his current foster home has a cat—he has peacefully coexisted, showing just how gentle and respectful he truly is. On leash, Thor can pull a bit and will need some gentle guidance—but truly, he just wants to stay close and go wherever you go. There is something incredibly special about this boy. Maybe it’s his resilience, maybe it’s his quiet devotion—but once you meet him, you’ll understand. Thor isn’t just looking for a home… he’s looking for someone to love, someone to belong to, and someone who will never let him feel alone again.
