Story
Meet Penny 🩷
We're not sure what breed mix Penny is, but whatever it is, she's adorable!. She has the sweet, reserved nature of a smart dog who is very observant of everything around her. While her sister is out meeting everybody, Penny is sizing up the situation. Once she decides you're OK, she's your sweetest little fan.
Penny was born in December 2025, and though it took her a bit to recover ftom being abandoned on a dirt road in freezing temperatures, she has blossomed into a well-behaved little thing.
She likes other dogs, is not a jumper, and she sits by her crate waiting until the food is put down before she goes in to eat.
Penny is the epitome of the well-behaved dog. She's calm, quiet, affectionate but not needy, and will let you love on her but won't pester you. She waits patiently for food and is not food aggressive.
Penny loves chasing balls and chewing on sticks, and still has the lanky goofiness of a puppy. She was born in November 2025. She's the best girl and we will be so happy when she finds the best home.
Penny is spayed, up to date on shots, and on heartworm preventative. She is ready to go!

Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
