Story
🐾 Meet Phil – The Sweetest Little Scrap Yard Survivor 🐾 Phil’s journey began in a scrap yard near a railroad track, where he and his sister were found darting between piles of metal and adventure. Despite his rough start, Phil has blossomed into a lovable, snuggly pup with a heart full of affection. This friendly boy is a cuddle champion—his favorite place is curled up next to you on the couch, soaking in all the love. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and even cats, making him a perfect addition to a multi-pet household. Phil is still learning the world isn’t such a scary place. Loud noises can make him a bit nervous, especially if he thinks he’s in trouble, but with gentle reassurance, he bounces back quickly. He’s currently being kennel trained and impressively puts himself to bed in his crate all on his own—talk about a smart cookie! If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a tender soul and a playful spirit, Phil might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to trade railroad tracks for a forever home filled with warmth, safety, and snuggles. Story
Meet Fridge – Your Lovable, Roadside Rescued Best Friend! Fridge isn’t just a name—it’s a whole vibe. This sweet, gentle Pitbull mix was found on the side of the road and has since been on a weight loss journey, proving that second chances (and fewer snacks) can lead to something amazing. Fridge is the neighborhood favorite, winning over kids and adults alike with his calm, friendly demeanor. He’s the perfect mix of laid-back and social, always happy to greet new friends with a wagging tail. In his foster home, he’s been a dream companion, living peacefully with two other dogs and a child. He’s neutral around other dogs, making him an easy addition to a home with existing pets. While Fridge loves a good nap and cuddle session, he’s also discovering his adventurous side! He’s developed a real love for walks and enjoys exploring the outdoors. His foster family says he’s getting more playful every day, even starting to show interest in toys—a big step for this previously overlooked pup. When he’s not out stretching his legs or testing out his growing toy collection, Fridge is a true cuddle bug, always ready for some cozy downtime with his humans. He’s looking for a forever home where he can continue his journey—with love, companionship, and plenty of time for walks and play. Could Fridge be the missing piece in your life? Story
GUNNER IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED!   Meet Gunner!  Gunner is about 2 years old and weighs 75 pounds. He “identifies” as a 5lb lapdog and his foster mom’s weighted blanket. Gunner thrives on human attention and will happily sit in your lap – even if he’s a bit bigger than your average lap dog. He is kennel trained and house trained. Gunner enjoys tugging on his rope toys! I love kids so much that I may knock little ones down, he gets excited! Gunner loves children, but because of his size, older children would be better. Gunner likes to run through the backyard like Forest Gump. He is truly a dog that doesn’t meet a stranger. Gunner’s loving personality and irresistible charm will bring happiness to those lucky enough to have him in their lives. Gunner is sure to become a beloved member of a family for years to come. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Gunner up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at:  newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Gunner here:  www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!
