Story
Parker is a very strong, handsome pit bull who’s been patiently waiting for his home since early December. At just over a year old, he still has that playful puppy energy and a personality that will keep you smiling. Parker is deaf, but don’t let that fool you. He’s incredibly smart and eager to learn. One of our kennel techs has been working with him using sign language and treats, and he has come such a long way already. He’s very treat motivated and loves having a job to do. His absolute favorite game is tug-of-war. He’s going to win every time too. He gets along well with other dogs and does a great job keeping his kennel clean during the day. Parker is still learning leash manners and currently thinks the leash is just another tug toy, but with a little consistency and continued training, he’ll keep improving. What really makes Parker special is his sweet, goofy personality. He’s full of love, eager to connect with people, and ready for someone who will continue helping him grow. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion and don’t mind losing a few tug-of-war matches, Parker might be your guy. Come meet him and see if he’s the missing piece to your family. Rocky is an under-a-year old, brindle and white pit mix who truly believes everyone is his best friend. He has never met a stranger and simply cannot get enough attention or affection. If you’re looking for a puppy who wants to be close, Rocky is your guy. In the play yard, Rocky is pure joy — he’ll happily play hard with toys all by himself, keeping himself entertained like a champ. He does great with other dogs and brings that classic puppy energy wherever he goes. Being a puppy, Rocky is still working on house training and leash manners, but he’s very food motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience. Rocky has already spent two months in the shelter, and we really don’t want him growing up here. He deserves a home where he can learn, grow, and soak up all the love he’s been saving for his people.
