Story
Parker is a very strong, handsome pit bull who’s been patiently waiting for his home since early December. At just over a year old, he still has that playful puppy energy and a personality that will keep you smiling. Parker is deaf, but don’t let that fool you. He’s incredibly smart and eager to learn. One of our kennel techs has been working with him using sign language and treats, and he has come such a long way already. He’s very treat motivated and loves having a job to do. His absolute favorite game is tug-of-war. He’s going to win every time too. He gets along well with other dogs and does a great job keeping his kennel clean during the day. Parker is still learning leash manners and currently thinks the leash is just another tug toy, but with a little consistency and continued training, he’ll keep improving. What really makes Parker special is his sweet, goofy personality. He’s full of love, eager to connect with people, and ready for someone who will continue helping him grow. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion and don’t mind losing a few tug-of-war matches, Parker might be your guy. Come meet him and see if he’s the missing piece to your family. Reba may not come with a detailed backstory, but what she does show us every day is just how special she is. This beautiful, laid-back pittie is around two years old and has a heart as soft as her soulful eyes. Reba has been through a lot already. She underwent surgery on both knees for luxating patellas, but she recovered beautifully in foster care and hasn’t let it slow her down one bit. She’s proof that resilience can come wrapped in the sweetest package. She’s a calm, gentle soul who enjoys the simple things in life, like lounging around, soaking up love, and playing outside with other dogs. She’s mostly housebroken and does well with most people, though she can be a little cautious around certain men and didn’t quite warm up to her foster dad. Because of this, she may do best in a home that’s patient and willing to let her build trust at her own pace. Reba isn’t looking for chaos. She’s looking for comfort, consistency, and someone who will love her for exactly who she is. And in return, you’ll get a loyal, sweet companion who just wants to be by your side.
