Story
Meet Poppy! We are currently taking applications for Poppy, and she will be able to go home with an adopter on May 17, after her spay surgery. Silly and playful, little Poppy is one of five siblings in our Spring Flowers litter. Poppy and her brother and sisters were born in our rescue after her very, very pregnant mother was surrendered to us in March. She has been raised in a home with other dogs, children, and teens, and she is a sweet and curious cuddle buddy who cannot wait to meet her perfect person! Born on March 18, Poppy is a blue merle pit bull puppy who we estimate will be a large dog. Poppy actively seeks out your affection, and she enjoys chatting with her people (she has a lot to tell you!). This silly, loving, and playful puppy is learning about the world around her and getting lots of attention, cuddling, and playtime. Poppy is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her new home. Want to learn more about Poppy? Fill out an inquiry or application form today! **Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a few hours at a time. Please only apply if you can be home with your puppy or can make arrangements for the puppy’s care. Ready to adopt? Now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at: www.lilaccitypupproject.org. Our adoption team will spring into action! You will have a phone call conversation with a dedicated adoption counselor, and the adoption team will contact your vet(s), if applicable. Once you have been matched with a dog, a meet and greet will be set up and take place at the foster family's home. After the meet and greet, there will be a home inspection and in-home trial prior to adoption finalization. Lilac City Pup Project is entirely volunteer and foster run, with no kennel facility. Only approved adoption applicants will be able to meet our dogs outside of adoption events. Adoption Donations: $350 for Puppies up to 9 months $300 for Adults 9 months or older *includes spay/neuter, all core vaccinations, and microchip. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Lilac City Pup Project is a federal 501c3 organization. Not sure you want to adopt, foster first and adopt later! LCPP is always in need of fosters. There is an overwhelming number of dogs who need our help and the more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save. LCPP covers expenses, including food. Fosters provide love and a soft place to crash. At Lilac City Pup Project we strive to better the lives of vulnerable dogs through rescue, foster, and adoption services; educate dog owners and empower them to build successful human/canine relationships; and support the local community by partnering with shelters facing overcrowding and limited resources. LCPP is organized exclusively for public, charitable, and/or educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. LCPP is a Nonprofit organization formed in Washington State in April 2025, by passionate dog lovers. One hundred percent (100%) of every dollar goes to furthering our tax-exempt purpose. Story
Meet Oleander! We are currently taking applications for Oleander, and he will be able to go home with an adopter on May 17, after his neuter surgery. Silly and playful, little Oleander (known affectionately as Ollie) is one of five siblings in our Spring Flowers litter. Oleander and his sisters were born in our rescue after his very, very pregnant mother was surrendered to us in March. He has been raised in a home with other dogs, children, and teens, and he is a playful and curious cuddle buddy with a touch of a mischievous streak.   Born on March 18, Oleander is a blue merle pit bull puppy who we estimate will be a large dog. When not engaged in some exploration or adventure, sassy Ollie is usually directing the others in play and the first to check out anything new. Once he has satisfied his curiosity, he is content to indulge in some serious cuddles with his people. He is learning about the world around him and getting lots of attention, cuddling, and playtime. Ollie is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for his new home. Want to learn more about Oleander?
