Story
Cookie’s been through a lot since arriving in our care, yet she’s always held onto her sweet personality. Recently, she’s had multiple masses removed, undergone dental extractions, and has been working toward a healthier weight. Despite a tough start to this new chapter, Cookie remains gentle, easygoing, and simply a happy, loving dog. We’ve been cheering her on every step of the way, and we’re hopeful her forever family will find her soon and continue the love and support she so deserves. Personality & Traits ~Energy Level: Mixed ~Great with: Adults ~Loves: Couch snuggling, chin scratches, and short walks ~Good to Know: Cookie must go to a home without any other animals—other dogs, cats, and small animals (guinea pigs, chickens, etc.). This pup prefers soaking all the love and attention for herself. Best Home for Cookie Cookie would truly shine in a calm, loving home with a family committed to supporting her wellness journey and embracing the goofy, sweet pup she truly is. She’s dreaming of taking walks by your side as you both cheer each other on, being your binge-watching partner, and sharing smiles with the wonderful people she can finally call her own.

Story
Meet Lovely Lavender! Sweet Lavender is the mama of our Spring Flowers litter. Lavender is associated with healing and often used medicinally or to soothe emotions. It seemed like an apt name for this lovely mama with warm chocolate eyes and stunning merle coloring. Life has dealt this girl a few bumps in the road, but her sweet and loyal personality never faltered. Lavender came to our rescue on March 15, very pregnant. A challenging housing situation made it virtually impossible for her owners to meet the needs of a pregnant mama and her imminent puppies. Her owners surrendered her to us, and our amazing litter foster welcomed this soon to be mama into her home. And just in time, too. Three days later, Lavender welcomed her five puppies of the Spring Flowers litter! A pit bull mix, we estimate Lavender was born in the fall of 2024. She’s full-grown and a medium-sized pup.  Now that her puppies are weaned, Lavender is having a chance to focus on herself and be the fun, playful, young dog she is. And boy does she play! Lavender adores other dogs; she has three pups in her foster home, and she revels in the company. Wrestling, playing chase, a game of tug – you name it, Lavender is up for it. She will do best in a home with other dogs for company; they really encourage her be carefree and relaxed. Lavender’s friendly nature extends to people as well. She loves cuddling with her people, and she recently charmed a crew of fencing contractors at her foster home. With that grin and darling prance, how could she not? She has done well with older kids, and she is currently living with cats. Lavender wants the cats to play with her like her pup friends, so a dog-savvy cat would be best for her. Lavender has adjusted smoothly to living in a home after her earlier unstable life. She’s crate trained and house-trained, and she’s a great sleeper. Lavender is getting used to walking on a leash, and she has never met a plush toy she didn’t love. This sweet, gentle girl is ready for a home of her own with people to love her! Want to meet this gorgeous girl? Fill out an inquiry or visit our website for more information! Ready to adopt? Now what? Story
Meet Poppy! We are currently taking applications for Poppy, and she will be able to go home with an adopter on May 17, after her spay surgery. Silly and playful, little Poppy is one of five siblings in our Spring Flowers litter. Poppy and her brother and sisters were born in our rescue after her very, very pregnant mother was surrendered to us in March. She has been raised in a home with other dogs, children, and teens, and she is a sweet and curious cuddle buddy who cannot wait to meet her perfect person! Born on March 18, Poppy is a merle pit bull puppy who we estimate will be a large dog. Poppy actively seeks out your affection, and she enjoys chatting with her people (she has a lot to tell you!). This silly, loving, and playful puppy is learning about the world around her and getting lots of attention, cuddling, and playtime. Poppy is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her new home. Want to learn more about Poppy? Fill out an inquiry or application form today! **Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a few hours at a time. Please only apply if you can be home with your puppy or can make arrangements for the puppy’s care. Ready to adopt? Now what?
