Meet Roulette – Your Next Best Friend! Looking for a pup who’s equal parts snuggly and sweet? Meet Roulette, a 12 month-old heart-stealer who’s ready to find his forever home! This handsome boy is about 45 lbs now and is expected to top out around 50 lbs — the perfect medium-large size for adventures and couch cuddles alike. Roulette is currently learning all about structure and boundaries, and he’s making great progress! He’s eager to please, especially if it means more love and attention from his people. Roulette is a snuggle enthusiast who thinks your lap was made just for him. He does great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to play and learn with. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but with his sweet nature, we think he could thrive with the right introductions. If you’re ready to add a loving, cuddly companion to your life — and don’t mind a little puppy charm along the way — Roulette just might be your perfect match. Want to meet Roulette? Fill out an inquiry or visit our website for more information!   What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course. Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon.   About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted.  Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##2456516##

Story
Hi, everyone! I'm Calypso! I'm a certified GOOD girl and a major cutie pie! I might not always appear this way in the shelter, but once I step out of my kennel, my true personality starts to shine! I was found as a stray in Spokane and was terrified of many things at first. I'm still working on my fear of brand-new people, but I have come very far since I was rescued and brought to Spokanimal.     My foster mom is the person who found me on the street and loved me so much that I now spend a lot of time with her and her family. I do very well with her 6-year-old kiddo, her hooman roommates, and all of their dogs! I am fully potty trained, do very well in a crate, and I know sit and down. I can be pretty vocal in the shelter, but I am very quiet in a home. (I might even be the best-behaved pup out of all SEVEN dogs I live with!) I would really love to find my forever family and a place to call home.     If you are interested in meeting me, you can call the shelter at 509-534-8133, OR, you can reach out to my foster mom (Lauren) via phone call or text message at 425-220-2233. Text works best for her!
