Story
Hi, I’m Bellagio! Professional couch potato, part-time comedian, full-time love bug. I’m the kind of girl who believes life is best enjoyed from a comfy couch with my favorite humans nearby. I’m friendly, gentle, and happiest in a quiet, lower-energy home where we can lounge together and just be. I don’t need constant action. I’d much rather supervise naps, soak up affection, and make you laugh with my silly little personality. A few important things to know about me: I’m a bit picky about my food and I prefer to eat small amounts (quality over quantity, obviously). I’m smart, observant, and low-key funny in a “did she just do that?” way. I get along well with kids and other dogs, though I appreciate slow introductions so I can ease into new friendships at my own pace. Take me outside and I’m all about having fun! A home with a fenced yard would be perfect for me, but fair warning: if there’s a gap at the bottom, I might channel my inner Houdini and see if I can squeeze through. A girl’s gotta test her limits, right? If you’re looking for a playful, loving, slightly mischievous companion who will add a touch of elegance to your everyday life, I just might be your girl.   What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Hi, I’m Keno! Today’s your lucky day… because you just won me! That’s right, I’m your personal jackpot of love, snuggles, and a few zoomies here and there. Don’t let my shy side fool you; give me a little time and I’ll be making friends, humans and dogs alike, exploring the house, and maybe even stealing your heart. Just a heads-up: small kids might get a little tumble if I hit the zoomies full speed. I’m looking for a home full of patience, love, and other gentle hearted souls. I need someone who can help me build confidence. Bonus points if you’re around a lot so we can spend time together. I’m curious, affectionate, and always ready to earn a treat (chicken is my absolute favorite!). With some guidance, I’ll master leash and house training in no time. At the end of the day, all I really want is a yard to run in, a warm bed to lay in, and a loving human to curl up beside. Stick with me, and I’ll show you that sometimes the winning ticket isn’t a scratch-off. It’s a four-legged friend named Keno.   What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Hi! My name is Blackjack! There's no gamble here when it comes to loving me! I’ll happily be your king of hearts, sticking close and keeping you company as your second shadow. I’m great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and I know how to be gentle while still having fun. Mostly, though, what I bring is love and lots of it! I’m the kind of dog who shows love by simply being there, calm, steady, and always ready to belong. I am gentle by nature, and smart to boot. I pick up on things quickly and enjoy learning, whether it’s new routines or just figuring out how to fit perfectly into your life. My energy level is just right: I’m up for walks and playtime, but I’m just as content to relax and nap nearby. Another bonus is I am already potty trained and nearly crate trained. I may take a few minutes to settle at first, but I’m improving quickly and will be fully comfortable in no time. When I imagine my perfect home, it’s one filled with love. Kids to play with, dog friends to hang out with, and people who want a sweet and steady companion to share their days and nights. If that sounds like you, I think you may have just drawn a winning hand.    What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Our adoption process takes on average 7-10 days.1. Story
Hi, everyone! I'm Calypso! I'm a certified GOOD girl and a major cutie pie! I might not always appear this way in the shelter, but once I step out of my kennel, my true personality starts to shine! I was found as a stray in Spokane and was terrified of many things at first. I'm still working on my fear of brand-new people, but I have come very far since I was rescued and brought to Spokanimal.     My foster mom is the person who found me on the street and loved me so much that I now spend a lot of time with her and her family. I do very well with her 6-year-old kiddo and her hooman roommates. I am fully potty trained, do very well in a crate, and I know sit and down. I can be pretty vocal in the shelter, but I am very quiet in a home. (I might even be the best-behaved pup out of all SEVEN dogs I live with!) I can coexist with some dogs, but not others. I have a VERY high prey drive and would love to be able to play daily to get my energy out. Because of this, it is best that I do not live with small dogs, cats or other small animals to avoid any mishaps. Anything small that runs might cause me to chase them, but I cant help it! I dont mean any harm, but I am a fast and strong little lady! I am currently working on the out/drop-it command while playing and I am pretty much a rock star now. I would really love to find my forever family and a place to call home.     If you are interested in meeting me, you can call the shelter at 509-534-8133, OR, you can reach out to my foster mom (Lauren) via phone call or text message at 425-220-2233. Text works best for her!

Story
Benny is a young, sweet, and active pup with a good foundation for manners and obedience. Playful and social, Benny loves to play with friendly dog buddies and would even love to have another dog at home to be his mentor. Benny is a great walking companion, though the squirrels do tempt him, and he’s still full of potential for someone excited about pursuing further training or even dog sports. When it’s time to settle, Benny is crate trained and understands his kennel as a safe place to remain calm. He enjoys car rides, safe chews/toys, and affection - Benny also has the softest velvety fur! While he has done well living with multiple cats, Benny has also been incompatible with others, so slow/managed intros will be important to set him up for success with a cat at home. For more information on Benny please TEXT his foster parent Cameron at 760-224-6556

Story
Meet Bella – Waiting Over 5 Years for Her Forever Family Sweet Bella has been with Spring Branch Rescue for over 5 years, hoping for a family to finally see her!  As a puppy, Bella was kept in a crate for long hours. All she wanted was to play with the kids in her home, but instead she spent her days confined. Despite her rough start, she’s still full of love, joy, and personality. Bella is playful, affectionate, and loves being part of the conversation (yes, she’s a little vocal!). She’s crate-trained, loves her playtime, and thrives when she’s included in family life. She’s on a special salmon or beef-based diet for mild skin allergies — no poultry for this girl.  Bella deserves a home where she can be free to love, play, and belong. She’s waited long enough — could you be the one she’s been dreaming of? Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific NW and East Coast. Bella is ready to be part of your family — forever. ##2149754##
