🐾 Max 🐾 If you like dogs with personality, Max is the boy for you! Hes confident charming, highly intelligent and very intune with people's emotions. All a great mixture for a true "Man's best friend." If you know anything about Shepherds, their genes are strong! So while Max may be a Shepherd mix, he has all the best qualities of a German Shepherd. But with that comes the nerves as well. Like most working breeds, Max needs something to keep his mind busy and "working". He loves to stay busy. Weather thats with enrichment toys, playing in the yard or just playing with people. He walks well on a leash and REALLY likes kids! But they do make him overly excited and he hasnt quite learned how to not jump up on them. So we would recommend older kids so he dosent knock them down. But he is eager to learn and picks up on cues fast! The chaos of the shelter is stressful for him and he gets a little overly anxious in his kennel, so be sure to ask our animal care team to take him out for a walk so you can see what a truly good boy he is 💕 #gsdlove #gsdmix #adoptionsaveslives
