Story
Meet Lola! Lola is a 1.5-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix with striking amber eyes, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. She’s wonderfully goofy — full of silly antics, playful energy, and that classic “husky talk” that makes her impossible not to smile at. She loves people, so expect plenty of affection, snuggles, and a sweet shadow who likes to be nearby. Lola has moderate to high energy and would do great in a home that can give her a bit of daily activity — whether that’s walks, playtime, or a canine buddy to help her burn off some zoomies. She’s friendly with kids and other dogs, though she’d do best in a home without cats, as her instincts may tempt her to chase. Lola is crate trained, progressing nicely with house training, and is already spayed and fully vaccinated. She’s ready to bring laughter, love, and lots of personality to her forever home.

Story
Hes a sweet Big Boi who needs alot of attention and exercise! I havent had any problems with him other than he could use some more basic training. I have a couple cats at home and he gets along with them just fine. He showed up on my doorstep not too long ago and needs someone who can take him on walks and having a fenced back yard would be great for him to run around in!

Story
Nova is a 10-month-old male Husky mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He has a gorgeous coat that is black with white markings; and he also has some tan markings.  Nova has one incredibly beautiful blue eye; and he is sporting some very large (better to hear you with my dear) ears!  He weighs 54 pounds so he is a large dog.  Nova is a typical Husky--active, playful, and loves the great outdoors.  He is a friendly, sweet guy who would be great with children and other dogs.  Being a Husky (who are known to be the Houdini breed of escape artists) Nova would need a securely fenced yard.  This is a great all around dog who is going to enjoy life best with an active family who included him in all their outdoor activities.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  March 7, 2026, 4:12 pm

Story
Doc is a handsome blue-eyed husky mix that is looking for a fresh start in life! He was found in a kind neighbor’s yard. One of the Humane Deputies came to pick him up and took him to the shelter so he could safely wait for his owner to claim him. Doc was never claimed and is now ready for adoption. Doc has all of his vaccinations for his age, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. Now keep in mind young puppies need lots of playtime and attention. Do you have time for a puppy like Doc?

Story
❄️Lobo❄️ This handsome guy is Lobo ❤️ He is a gorgeous white Husky with piercing blue eyes. Lobo is a total sweetheart but he is a typical Husky who needs an experienced owner and a sturdy fence. Lobo is a big, strong boy who loves playing outside but also also enjoys being a couch potato and watching tv while he enjoys a good chew bone. Lobo is doing well with his house training and is good in his secure crate. He is fine with other dogs with proper introductions and loves every person he meets. He can still get a bit excited when meeting new people and may need to be reminded of how big he is. Lobo would be best as a companion dog where he can go on fun hikes and walks or runs where he can got out his Husky energy. He would be fine with older children but might be a bit to rambunctious for young children. If this boy sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, please submit an application. Lobo can’t wait to meet his forever family and start his new life. If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel.
