Story
she was a stray had her about a year, she got along with the other dog in the photos for about 6 months now they have to be separated at all times or they will get in a massive fight. we have another dog she does okay with but i think she would do best as an only dog. she seems like she understands potty training but she just can’t hold it while im at work or sleeping. she only has a handful of people she likes, anyone else she will bark and bark at them until she gains trust which takes a while but she has never bitten anyone. i know she just needs someone to build her confidence and do some work with her but unfortunately i just do not have the time. she’s happy and healthy here but i feel like she could be much happier with someone who is more experienced. she does chew on furniture if left unsupervised but when she’s attached to you she’s the sweetest most cuddly dog ever and she lovess to play in any form of water and she would lay outside for hours if i let her it’s just too hot

Story
Meet Cindy Cindy is a beautiful, spirited girl who is still waiting for someone willing to truly give her a chance. For almost all of her life, Cindy has only known rescue life. She has spent 4 out of her 5 years that is 1493 days living at the rescue, waiting and hoping for a family of her own. Because of this, Cindy will need someone patient and understanding who is willing to visit her a few times and let her slowly build trust and confidence with them.Once Cindy knows you, she is an incredibly fun, loving, and playful girl. She has a goofy personality, loves attention, and is always ready to go on an adventure. Cindy enjoys her walks and would make an excellent hiking partner for someone who enjoys staying active.Cindy is also quite the talker and loves to let you know when she is excited or wants attention. She has learned to sit and is continuing to work on her training every day.Because Cindy is strong and can be reactive when unsure, she will need a confident, experienced handler who can continue providing structure, guidance, and consistency. She will do best in an adult-only home with no children.Cindy truly deserves the chance to finally experience life outside the rescue — a warm home, a comfy bed, and someone she can call her person. If you are willing to take the time to let Cindy get to know you, we believe you will discover what an amazing girl she truly is.If you can offer Cindy an indoor forever home, please fill out an application through Saving Paws Rescue AZ. Approved applications are required prior to meet and greets as we are an all-volunteer organization.Thank you for considering giving Cindy the second chance she has waited so long for. If you can give Cindy an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.org/adoption-form/ We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks. Thank you for your interest in saving the life of a dog.
