Story
Hi! My name is Flora and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 5 year old female Husky who is as sweet as can be. I love to snuggle up and relax; but also enjoy going on walks! I can really do it all! I promise to do well on a leash and I'll follow your lead while on a walk. The staff have noticed I have had no accidents while in my kennel, so I am most likely house-trained. Also, I get along with most other dogs as long as they are my size or larger. My ideal home would be an active one, that has lots of people to give me the attention I need throughout my day to day life. I would do best with older children, just because I like to have my "me" time throughout the day. I am also a really good singer, so if you want a back up singer I would be your gal. If you're looking for a bright and loving personality in your home, then come say hi and see if I would be a good fit for your pack! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!

Story
Hi there! My name is Lucy and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 5 year old, female German Shepherd who enjoys long walks on the beach and snuggles with my person! I came from an active home with kids, so if you're looking for an addition to your pack, I should fit right in! I like chasing cats and birds, so if you have either of those, I probably wouldn't be a great fit. Other than that, I do very well on walks and I'm not bothered by other dogs but would do best as the only dog in the home. I know how to "sit" and "stay" and I'm eager to learn more! I love bringing my toy to you to show off too. Staff here has been working very hard to help me be the best girl around. I am house trained and I am friendly to everyone I meet. My ideal home would be one that is very active and has lots of time to spend with me throughout the day. A family that is going to continue my training cause I love to work and show off how smart I am! Come say hi, I'd love to meet you! Also, when will you ever get another chance to say "Lucyyyy I'm hoomee!" and actually have a reason to say it!? Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Story
Hi! My name is Nova and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 2 year old, female, Husky who came to SB Humane looking for a new best friend. I am an energetic and elegant little lady who charms everyone I meet. I am very intelligent and I am a go-getter, so I would love a family that will give me all the treats for the awesome tricks I will learn. My ideal home would be with a family that is active and that will take me on all of their adventures, since I love to stick to my people like glue. I walk very well on leash and in my previous home I was housetrained. You would love to add me to your family if you want a fuzzy friend to take naps on the couch with, or a hiking companion to keep you on your toes. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.
