Handsome Jax is a goofy, happy dog with an eye-catching auburn and white coat. He came to us from a shelter in Fresno and he was living as a stray before he was impounded. He knows how to Sit and Shake and he's very loving as long as you don't boss him around. If you give him respect, he'll return it with lots of hugs and kisses.   Jax is mature but would love to take you for hikes, walks, runs, swims, and anything else you can think of involving the great outdoors.  Do you have space in your heart and life for Jax? Then call the Ranch to meet him today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. Blitz has a huge heart and a lot of love to give! This extremely protective fellow will be loyal to the last to his adoptive family. He's getting on in years and would love someone to give him a calm home where he can keep watch over his domain in a peaceful environment. Blitz gets along with most other dogs (including small dogs). He is house-trained and has excellent recall. One of his most endearing traits is his love of stuffed toys! He is quite strong and can be anxious, so an experienced adopter would be best. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. If you are looking for a smart, young, athletic dog, Monty may be just right for you! He is an extremely happy and good-natured boy who craves connection with people. Monty is a quick learner! He's already mastered "Sit" and "Down," and is working on taking treats gently. He walks fairly well on-leash, and would make a fantastic outdoor adventure buddy.  He is quite exuberant and tends to get a bit excited when first greeting a friend. However, he's eager to please and once he knows he has your attention he tries really hard to earn your approval.  Monty is dog social with most of the dogs he's been introduced to here at the Ranch and might do well with the right canine companion. He even loves kids and despite his size tries his best to be gentle with them.  If Monty sounds like your perfect match, call the Ranch to meet him today!
