German Shepherd Mix Looking for a Loving Home.We had her for a month after she was found stray by the shelter. Unfortunately one of our family member shows allergic reaction time to time and we decided to find her a better home.She is a playful and energetic but will stay calm when everybody is calm . She walks nicely on a leash and responds well to the handler. However, because she likely missed early socialization, she tends to run towards other dogs to play. We are working on neutrality training and she is already improving.She is currently on treatment for heart worms. The shelter provided medicine(doxycycline). Injection treatment is already scheduled at Gwinnett Animal Shelter on June 22, 2026, and all cost is covered by the shelter. We will provide all detail to support continuation of cure.We are hoping for a family who can provide clear structure, rules, and daily engagement. You are welcome to take her crate, cushion, leash, and leftover medicine/food if needed.

Willa is so sweet. She is about 8 years old. She never runs after cats or chases other dogs or animals (we have 2 other dogs and a cat). We have young children and she is nothing but gentle with them. She does not beg for food. My husband recently lost his job and we have to move back in with family and cannot take her. She needs a good home with someone who will love her for the rest of her life.
