Story
Meet Percy, a stunning Husky who arrived at the shelter as a stray with his best friend, Etta, on 6/12. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim them. Percy shows signs of a hard life outdoors, including fly-strike damage to his ears, and he is heartworm positive. The good news is that with proper treatment and care, he can go on to live a long, happy, and healthy life. Be sure to ask shelter staff about fostering-to-adopt while he completes treatment. Volunteers describe Percy as sweet, playful, and well-mannered. He happily sits for treats and loves spending time with people. Percy is still young and has so much love to give, he just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Could you be the hero he's been waiting for?
Percy is approximately 4 years old and weighs 36 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and neutered; he will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Percy in kennel 877; his ID # is 19883.
