He needs someone who he can become comfortable with and spend lots of time with. He is shy of others, and takes some time to get comfortable and gain trust, but once gained, he is an extremely loyal and loving dog. He has quite the personality and will always stay right by your side.

Gunner (called “Alf” by his foster parents) is a six month old, 30 pound shepherd mix who is looking for his forever family.  Want a fun friend to do dog sports? Need a new hiking or camping partner? Want an intelligent dog that wants to do puzzles and games (his favorite game is hide and seek!)? Gunner is your guy! He loves to play, learn, and explore and would thrive in a home where someone is interested in continuing his training. He’s already learned some basic commands, as you can see in the video and completed a week of board and train. Gunner is house trained and crate trained  and sleeps quietly all night in his crate.
