***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels Meet OGGIE! He is a gorgeous, healthy, soft 5.5-year-old, 45-lb male husky who is housetrained, knows basic commands, and leash manners. OGGIE is dog-friendly, having lived in a house with other dogs and teenagers. OGGIE was lucky to be fostered by a loving family so we learned more about him in a home. He is a sweet, smart boy who loves being close to his people. Around the house, he’s calm, quiet, and happy to nap nearby while you work or relax. He enjoys playing ball. He’s very food-motivated and eager to learn. He’s a great companion for someone who enjoys hikes or neighborhood strolls. OGGIE is still working on a few things, including leash reactivity to other dogs/small animals and some resource guarding. He can also be a bit selective with new people in his home, so he’ll do best with a patient, experienced owner who can continue his training. With the right home, OGGIE has so much potential to be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. OGGIE is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines, so ready for his forever home. Story
Bruce is as goofy as they come. He is a big boy who acts like the biggest kid ever. He and Knuckles know and love each other. They are great friends from their past. Once reunited it was such a wonderful thing to see and made us cry. He is great with every person and animal he meets. Bruce loves to play with his friends and curl up with you. He likes to jump up and give as many kisses as possible, so be prepared for a wet face. Bruce doesn’t like to be left alone; he will need another dog friend. Bruce has had a very hard life. Yet, through it all he stands tall and you wouldn’t know that he went through any of it. His story is long and can be discussed in depth via phone or meeting with serious applicants. Bruce is crate trained, house trained, and leash trained. Bruce is about 2 1/2 years old at the time this is posted and we think he may have German shepherd and Siberian husky in him. Meet Sydney, a serene and affectionate Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as her gaze. Sydney is the definition of calm—nothing seems to faze her. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves.
