Story
I rescued Marty a little over 2 years ago (he is ~2.5 yrs old). He was the quietest puppy ever! Marty is neutered and is up to date on all of his shots. Marty loves to play in the water on camping trips and loves to play with other dogs. He can be a little shy, but once he gets to know you, the love he gives is endless; you are his world. He loves to cuddle and loves to sleep beside you if you let him. He is obviously potty trained and, for the most part, is house trained; he does find himself in trouble sometimes, as all dogs do; they're imperfect like us. Over the last few months, I've grappled with the fact that he deserves better. I'm busy, VERY BUSY, and will be for the foreseeable future. I never thought this could even be an option, but sadly, after much, much, much thinking, the best thing for both of us is for him to find a new home. The best way I can sum Marty up is that he's a dog's dog. He loves to play, he loves to cuddle, and most of all, he loves YOU.

Story
Lucy is an 8-year-old German Shepherd who became part of our family when my mother-in-law, who bred German Shepherds, passed away. She spent her early years on a small farm, running and playing with other dogs, and has adapted well through several moves over the years.Lucy is a loving, loyal dog who has been great with our children and friendly with visitors. In 2023, she completed a professional board-and-train program and knows basic obedience. Because she grew up with little leash experience, she can be somewhat anxious on walks.Lucy is intelligent, active, and needs more exercise and attention than we can currently provide, which is why we have made the difficult decision to find her a new home. She has lived with dogs and cats and generally gets along well with them. We are aware of one incident where she snapped at another dog on a walking trail. We’re looking for a loving home that can give Lucy the time, activity, and companionship she deserves.

Story
I rescued this beautiful girl in January 2026 from a home with domestic violence and other issues. I love her so very much; however, I now find myself getting divorced and my new lodgings will not accommodate a dog. Sadie, age 3, is an absolute lover and especially adores kids. Her favorite food is peanut butter. She is smart as a whip and loves doing zoomies and running throwing her toys (she tosses them for herself). She is nervous and does have anxiety I treat with over-the-counter treats. She does not bite. Her big downfall is that she is a runner. If she gets out the door she is gone. She would be in heaven with an owner that jogged! Her walks around the neighborhood bring her great joy. She will need a fenced in yard with a fence she cannot climb or jump, or she will need to be tethered out. We have a dog door and let her come and go freely until she figured out how to escape the yard a few weeks ago. I am heartbroken to lose this girl. I promised her a forever home.
