Story
Hi!Bart is a two-year-old German Shepherd Husky mix, who was born April 21st 2024. I have had him since August of 2024. He is kennel trained and house trained. Bart was trained in the basics as a puppy, is very food oriented and will only remember his training when a treat is involved. He is very loyal, protective, hyperactive, and playful. His new owner will need to be someone with a strong voice, patience, energy, a calm demeanor and environment, and have experience with large dogs (German Shepherds, ect.). Also, a gated outdoor space is a must. He is also used to sleeping in the house, in a kennel.  I am not asking for an adoption fee, because I would like to have a few meetups/play events with Bart to see if it is a fit. Although I am giving him up for adoption, I would like the best for him. He was raised around young kids, but due to his size, his play can be rough, the same with cats. I am willing to travel to find him the best home.

Story
Ursla Ursla is a female Husky/Shar Pei/Retriever mix. (breed) DOB: April of 2022 Adoption fee: $100.00 I am a beautiful girl. My confidence with new people, places and things is low. The only memory I have is of being at the shelter. I love it here, but I deserve more. I enjoy going for walks with my volunteer friends. My favorite toys are big bouncy/squeak balls. I play well with other dogs, pending personalities. I am not a leader. I do like to give hugs to my favorite staff members and sometimes we enjoy a dance when our favorite songs come on the radio. I can be quite the character at times. I will need a physically fenced yard. I have never been around young children; I am recommended for older children. Not sure about cats, I see them all the time and may be fine with a cat in my home if we are introduced slowly. I would be a great companion for someone who just wants a dog to be grateful to see them at the end of a long day. If you are interested in being my adopter, please visit my shelter's website and complete the adoption application that is available there! HSSCM.org you can find the applications under the "adoptions" tab.

Story
Yzma Yzma is a female Husky/Shar Pei/Retriever mix. DOB: April of 2022 Adoption fee: $100.00 I am shy to new people. I have a quirky personality and get all giddy when I am nervous or uncomfortable in situations. I would do my best with someone with rescue experience. I have not been exposed to much other than what is at the shelter. I have not had the best experiences meeting other dogs. I would be best as the only dog in my home or may adjust with an older dog that really doesn’t care if I am there or not. I will be afraid of cats but may adjust to a dog savvy cat using a slow positive introduction. I will need a physically fenced yard at my new home. I would adjust better to a quiet home. I walk well on a leash and as I grow my confidence with my new family I will enjoy exploring new places. I am a very loving girl and deserve a chance to find out what it's like to be in a home. If you are interested in being my adopter, please visit my shelter's website and complete the adoption application that is available there! HSSCM.org you can find the applications under the "adoptions" tab.
