Hello! This is my German shepherd named “Romulus”. He is an exceptionally intelligent and loving dog. He’s friendly and loves almost everyone he meets. When you’re present with him he is the best dog I’ve ever personally had. You ask him to jump and he says how high type of dog. The only problem really is his separation anxiety. I’ve had him for about 2-3 years (came from a shelter) and never was really able to get him over that. It’s for this reason he needs an experienced owner that can be with him and has the space for him to be his best self. He is potty trained, but due to his anxiety, experiences issues with his ability to keep it in and may have a potty accident on the floor. I love this dog so much and I really want him to go to a great home.

He was a previous puppy that we were babysitting for and his owner gave him to a family that split up and Carl was left to fend for himself on the street. Kalamazoo Animal Control picked him up in a parking lot and contacted us to see if we could help once his chip was discovered.

One year old Jacob found himself in a Texas shelter with a toe injury. He has recovered well and made his way up to Michigan in search of his forever home. He is all ears and all cute! Jacob gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He is crate and house trained and an all around smart boy, typical of his breed. He is a little shy at first, but comes right out of his shell after a bit. Because of his shyness, a physical fenced yard that is higher than 4 feet high is required. Caesar is a 4 year old pure bread german shepherd. he is the sweetest dog you could ever imagine, but we recently just had a baby and he is getting into stuff non stop. he has been chewing up his bottles & getting in the trash because he is bored. he needs someone that is able to be active and take him on walks and is able to do stuff with him. we unfortunately just dont have the time or energy to meet his needs. he is good with other dogs, but not particularly fond of cats. Caesar needs (probably) a male companion that is very active and outdoorsy. Caesar will cuddle up on the couch after a long day but loves to play! posting an adoption fee to make sure he goes to a good home.

Winslow Winslow is a male Malinois/Heeler DOB: June 11th, 2025 Adoption fee: $150 I was told this is my heritage, maternally, Belgium Malinois and paternally, 50 % Red Heeler/25% Standard Poodle/25% Australian Shepherd mix. I think I am just a very nice young man, who can be shy to new people, places, and things. Due to my current behavior, I will require a physical fenced yard. I am not fit for apartment life. I would do my best with someone with my breeds characteristics and is familiar with dogs who might need more time to adapt to a new environment. I am not as energetic as my brothers but could develop more of a zest for play once I have acclimated to my new home. I would enjoy a home with another dog which is looking to mentor a young impressionable pup who just wants to belong. I will seek out more attention and affection from my humans with another dog in my home. My leash walking is coming along. At times, or with new volunteers, I need more encouragement to walk next to or in front of them. I tend to trail behind with less confidence until I become more acclimated to the person. I am a very nice pup. I do have a lot of hair and will need to be brushed or possibly groomed a couple of times a year.

I could tolerate a dog-friendly cat, with a slow proper introduction. I am doing better with my leash training. I am not super confident and will walk more behind you than in front or to your side. I am an observer and take my time to work up to affection. I find confidence in having another social dog by my side. I will be medium or on the smaller end of large when fully grown. I have a thick coat and enjoy playing outside. With confidence and training, I will enjoy going for daily walks and playing in the yard.

I would do my best with a routine and basic obedience. I may match with another dog but may do best with a female dog or as an only dog. I may enjoy weekly play groups pending the situation. I do have a very full coat and will require regular brushing or grooming a couple of times per year. I should adapt to a dog-friendly cat as long as we are introduced properly. I would do my best with older children pending observed interaction.
