Story
One year old Jacob found himself in a Texas shelter with a toe injury. He has recovered well and made his way up to Michigan in search of his forever home. He is all ears and all cute! Jacob gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He is crate and house trained and an all around smart boy, typical of his breed. He is a little shy at first,  but comes right out of his shell after a bit. Because of his shyness, a physical fenced yard  that is higher than 4 feet high is required.  Jacob is 40 lbs (and growing), neutered, up to date in shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.00. If you have questions about him, please email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Ready to apply for him, visit our website at www.projecthoperescue.org.December 29, 2025, 4:21 pm

Story
Hello meet Cyrus. He is a very outgoing and silly boy. He absolutely loves to play explore and he is eager to learn. He is highly intelligent, within just one week he was kennel trained and learned how to sit and shake. He is fully potty trained and loves having other dogs to play with. He is very food driven which makes training even easier. He is amazing on a leash and loves his daily walks. He loves outdoor adventures whether it’s hiking running or a beach day! He loves to swim. He also just simply likes going on car rides and being included. A fenced in yard is needed for him to run and play. After a long day he loves to get belly and neck scratches and snuggle up in bed.Cyrus was rescued from Texas and at just ten pounds he had a broken femur and ribs. He made a miraculous recovery and you can hardly tell he was ever hurt. It does not stop him from running and jumping! He is still learning his manners and we are working on jumping as he doesn’t realize just how big he is yet! As a Shepherd he needs someone willing to commit the time and energy into him and he will give you back endless love and loyalty! He is truly the perfect companion. He is also great with children. He loves to play ball and is ready for a home that can give him the time and energy needed for his activity level.Cyrus is about 10 months old and weighs around 90 pounds. He is neutered, has a microchip and all of his vaccines! His adoption fee is $350.00. Please email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com if you have questions about him or visit our website at www.projecthoperescue.org to fill out an adoption application Show lessJanuary 4, 2026, 11:52 am

Story
Meet Hotch! Hotch is a 1.5-year-old bundle of brains, energy, and charm who’s always ready to make the most of his day. This sweet, friendly boy loves being around people and enjoys having something to do, especially if treats are involved! He’s a smart pup who already knows sit and is eager to show it off when snacks are on the line. Hotch is happiest when he’s outdoors, taking in all the smells and stretching his legs. He loves running around, playing ball, and romping through the snow like it’s the best thing ever. Walks are one of his favorite activities too, though he can pull on leash when excitement takes over, so continued work on leash skills will help him settle into a nice walking rhythm. This energetic guy also has a bit of an adventurous streak and has shown some escape-artist tendencies, so he’ll do best with mindful supervision and an environment that helps keep him safe while he explores. Hotch can also experience some separation anxiety and will appreciate a home that can offer consistency, reassurance, and positive outlets to help him feel comfortable when alone. With his affectionate nature, playful spirit, and love for learning, Hotch is ready to bring a lot of fun, and a lot of heart to his forever home!   Hotch at a Glance Age: 1.5 years old Personality: Sweet, friendly, smart, and energetic Training: Knows sit, working on leash manners Favorite Activities: Playing, running around outside, playing in the snow ##2605562##
