Story
I saw a post from an acquaintance about some dogs he had found in a garage. They were being kept in there 24/7 with no food or water. After the post being up for a few days, I reached out and offered to take them and keep them until I could find a permanent home. I took these dogs in, one of which being Peanut, and got them healthy and began to get some weight on them. Unfortunately, my hope of them becoming foster fails fell apart when the dog I already had was rejecting the new family members. Now that Peanut is healthy, I would like to find a home that works better for her. She is estimated at about 2 years old. She is a very playful pup who loves running in the yard and going for walks or just cuddling with you. She is crate trained and from my experience, does good in public. She is young and could use more training, especially with potty, but she is a sweetheart that deserves a full life and not the current crate and switch in my home.

Story
This is Akita She is a Siberian Husky We took her in a couple months ago from someone that was trying to rehome her. We were told that she's good with kids, but unfortunately she is not. She has bitten my toddler (did not break skin) with no warning growl. We've always been diligent with making our kids be respectful of the dogs space, but it's seems like being around small children gives her anxiety. She is incredibly friendly with adults and is not reactive to strangers. She does well on a leash and is a great running partner! She's been such a sweet dog but it's just not a good fit for us. The previous owners said she was updated on her shots but I don't have a lot of information, and have not been able to take her in to update her shots. For that reason I'm not asking a rehoming fee, but I will require proof that she will be going to a good home and will absolutely not be in a home with small children. We have two cats that she does well with.

Story
Meet Luna! Luna is a super sweet, 8 month old Shepsky/Arctic-breed mix puppy, who loves her people. We adopted Luna in Oct ‘25, one month after adopting her sister. While Luna does well with our other dogs, her sister is aggressive toward her, and we’re making the difficult decision to rehome Luna for her safety and well-being. Luna is house trained (though accidents still happen), crate trained, and sleeps through the night. She’s generally very quiet and rarely barks, but will do “Husky talk” or howl when ready to come out of her crate. Luna is timid at first in new environments, but with patience and routine her sweet personality shines. She’s great with our teenage kids. Because of her breed, Luna requires owners experienced with high-energy working dogs that can provide exercise, structure, and training. $250 adoption fee includes her crate, toys, and dog food to support a smooth transition. If you could provide Luna with a loving forever home, we would love to hear from you!

Story
A is for all the affection I have to give V is for my vivacious nature E is for easing into new friendships R is for my refreshing outlook on life I is for the incredible adventures we will have together E is for my enthusiasm in everything I do! I hear people-pleasing is supposed to be exhausting....but not for me! Being the young little lady that I am, my potential is as high as your dedication! It is very satisfying to utilize this beautiful brain I have, to make my friends (and my future family) happy. I won't lie to you; I am still growing out of some "puppy habits" (mouthing when I am overly excited) but rest assured, positive redirection and consistency will make for a quick remedy. Because I am still learning my size and appropriate play behavior, I might be best suited for older children that have a sturdy stance. Who needs a television when you could have me to keep you entertained! My enthusiasm is expressed in such a dorky way. I like to zoom around and try my best to impersonate a professional contortionist by folding over like a pretzel with my behind in the air! I am really excited to play with other dogs too, its a great way to let my antics out before we hunker down in bed for the night. Don't wait too long, if you like it....then you should put a collar on it. Take the first steps by submitting your adoption application to the website below! DOB: 2/12/2021 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/
