Meet Felix! 🐾 Felix is a 4-year-old Shepsky (German Shepherd/Husky mix) looking for a loving home with an experienced dog owner, preferably without young children or other pets. Felix is smart, sweet, affectionate, loyal, and silly. He loves his people and has so much personality. Unfortunately, due to changes in our family circumstances, we have made the heartbreaking decision to find him a new home. As our family has grown and we now have an increasingly mobile and curious toddler, we no longer feel our home is the right environment for him. Felix does have a history of food and toy guarding, which is why we feel he would be safest without young children or other dogs. He has had some training in the past, though it has not been intensive. We are looking for someone experienced, patient, and willing to continue his training and give him the structure and attention he deserves. Our biggest priority is finding Felix a safe, loving home where he can thrive. ❤️

Story
Autumn is a very lovable and quirky 7yro German shepherd. Very friendly and good with kids, cats and other dogs. We adopted Autumn 6 months ago from a family who traveled a lot. We don’t travel but we work a lot. She has separation anxiety and needs someone who works from home or home a lot more than we are. We would love to keep her but feel it is not fair to her that she doesn’t get the attention she needs due to us having blue collar jobs with long hours. We don’t want any money, just someone who is going to have more time for her than we do. She’s crate trained, loves her chew toys, chillin right next to you and very smart. We don’t know much about her past but we think she would be perfect for any family that has kids 8 or older due to her size as she doesn’t know her own weight.

She is the absolute sweetest girl with so much love to give! Kaylee absolutely loves people and is happiest when she's soaking up attention, giving kisses, and even giving hugs. She has a heart of gold and loves making everyone she meets her new best friend. This happy, playful girl is always smiling and ready for fun. She loves playing tag with her dog friends, carrying around her favorite toys, and staying active. She also loves the water, making her an especially fun companion for adventures! Kaylee is an amazing girl on leash and walks beautifully. She responds very well to her person, is incredibly smart, and picks up new commands quickly. She would thrive with a person or family who enjoys walks, playtime, training, and keeping up with her fun, puppy-like energy. She also does well with older, respectful children. Despite being abandoned by her previous owners, Kaylee has never stopped loving people. She is the kind of dog who will happily shower her people with kisses and hugs and make sure you never forget how much she loves you. If you'd like to meet this amazing girl, the first step in our adoption process is to visit www.adoggie4you.org and complete an adoption application for Kaylee. Adoption fee $200 and she is fully vetted. This dog is currently in Texas; however, she can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or locations along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250.
