Her family had been a guest and decided to leave her behind when they left. Lucky for her, the hotel called our vet and asked for help. This beauty is very smart and active. She needs a family that is going to keep her busy. This breed has to have a job to be happy. Are you looking for a walking or running buddy? Do you think you would like to enter working dog classes in your spare time? If so, this is your girl. She needs an active family to walk with, play with in the back yard, and run around chasing toys. Sasha is about 2 years old, 58 pounds and $300 to adopt. Looking for a new furry edition to your family? Meet Koda! He is a 2-3 year old male husky. My husband and I have been fostering Koda since January 24th and we've fallen in love with him. He is truly a huge love bug and people person and so well behaved. He greets everyone with kisses and is so gentle. He was found roaming the streets and taken to Cincinnati Animal Care. Some things about Koda: * He's never had any accidents * Does amazing in a crate * LOVES the snow and will stay outside for hours if you let him * He hops like a bunny when he's happy * Loves meat flavored treats * He's amazing and super sweet with everyone...but he LOVES men * He never howls or barks like a typical husky...only when he's in the cage and other dogs walk by him and he gets excited * Was neutered on Feb 6th and is up to date on shots Important to note about Koda is that he is food aggressive with other dogs. He would need to be kept separate for feeding time. He is NOT food aggressive with people at all. you can take his food or bone right out of his mouth and he does not care... just with other dogs. He does great playing with other dogs, absolutely loves our Saint Bernard and plays with her all the time! He'd do best with one other dog or no others so his food aggression could be better managed. He has not yet been around cats or children, but would most likely do better in a home without small children. Meet Sebastian. Sebastian is an adorable 3-month-old, nine-pound Lab/Husky mix, (heavy on the mix). Sebastian, along with his sisters, Arial, Alana and Ursula make up the Little Mermaid Litter. For a litter of young puppies, they are very calm and well behaved, seldom nipping. They like to play, explore, wrestle and snuggle with each other and their foster mom. They make it known when they want something, but overall are not very vocal. They use puppy pads reliably in the pen, and travel well in a car. Based on their parents, they are likely to be medium sized dogs when fully grown. They are beautiful little puppies who love everyone. Sebastian is the only one in the litter that is only black and white, with no brown. He has beautiful black shiny hair with white on his chin and chest and tipped on all four paws. Sebastian is the definition of chill. He’s low key and sometimes a little hesitant, but really likes to sit with his foster mom. He’s just too cool to let people know. He holds his own against his sisters, and is not apposed to a bout of tug-of-war. But he clearly likes to nap on foster mom’s lap the best. Sebastian has puppy energy now, but is likely to be a medium energy dog when full grown. He is very sweet and loving, not to mention amazingly handsome. Like all puppies, he will need to be taught boundaries, but he is very cooperative. Blue the husky is obviously a looker! He’s probably a year old and 50# of hair, and LOVE!! He is crate trained, knows how to sit and recently learned to give hugs- must LOVE HUSKY HUGS!! He’s very dog friendly, likes cats a little too much and will chase or sometimes play too rough but he isn’t trying to hurt them, but for everyone' s sake he will go to a no kitty home. Blue had been roaming the neighborhood for months then eventually made a best friend named Benji= the ADORABLE terrier ;) After months of them visiting all the homes who poured cat food and water he started to let me pet him and that was because he would watch me with my foster at the time while we’d be out on walks. He had a rough time before being in the neighborhood, apparently in his first "home" he was yelled at all the time and so he is sensitive to new people as well as brooms and belts :( He’s still an affectionate dog the more I get to know him but of course he will require lots of patience as he begins to build his trust back with humans.Right now his favorite thing to do is play and be a part of pack. He enjoys all of the other dogs in the house. he even smiles at me from time to time. He’s also been known to let out a some decent howls when I’m arriving home from work, so if you love the WHOOWHOOWHOO of a husky boy, he is the ONE!! He needs a quieter home, no young children but older are fine. He needs patience and support as he builds up his confidence and trust. He has it in him!!
