Story
Athena was born April 25, 2022 and I picked her up at 2 months old from a breeder in Northern Ohio. She’s been a joy to my life ever since just as she will be to her new family. She is a playful and energetic girl who also loves belly rubs and cuddles. Athena is great with other dogs but loves people more than anything! She’s very intelligent and a trustworthy adventure companion. My family is relocating and unfortunately, she will not be able to go with us. She will truly be a blessing to her new home!

Story
Meet Sasha! 🌟 At just 3 years old, Sasha has already overcome so much. She was picked up by Franklin County in April after being hit by a car on I-670, suffering pelvic and hip fractures. But this brave girl didn’t let that stop her! 💪🐾 She’s fully healed and runs, plays, and enjoys life to the fullest. Sasha’s a spayed German Shepherd with a big heart and a big personality. She’s smart, protective, sometimes silly — and absolutely devoted once she bonds with you. She loves a good game of tug, chasing Jolly balls, and keeping watch over her yard like a true Shepherd queen. 👑 Her foster mom says Sasha has come a long way with patience, structure, and training. She’s working with trainer and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She needs someone experienced who understands the strong, loyal spirit of a GSD. ✅ Crate trained ✅ Great in the yard with a secure fence ✅ Sweet, affectionate, and hilarious once she trusts you 🚫 Best in a home without small kids or small animals Sasha’s perfect match? Someone who loves the Shepherd energy — confident, consistent, and committed to her continued growth. 🐕‍🦺💛 Trainer Brian has even offered to help with her transition and continued training for her adopter! If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loyal companion who’ll give you her all, Sasha is waiting. 🏡💖

Story
Meet Sam! This handsome guy recently came to us as a stray, and we are still getting to know him. So far Sam is a very happy, playful guy and has been fast friends with staff! Sam is an active boy and very food driven; he already knows some basic skills like "sit" and would love to continue learning through positive reinforcement based training! Sam has done well with other dogs and may appreciate a doggy playmate at home to keep him busy. He would do best in a home without cats. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Sam home. If you are interested in meeting Sam, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Story
Meet Kimber! This sweet girl recently came to us as a stray, and it seems like she was on her own for some time. Kimber came to us in pretty rough shape, emaciated, suffering from a pyometra infection, and absolutely terrified. Thankfully Kimber is now on the mend, and is slowly coming out of her shell. Kimber is looking for a quiet home she can recover in, that will give her the time and care she needs to blossom. Kimber seems to do okay with other dogs. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Kimber home. If you are interested in meeting Kimber, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
