He has gained quite a bit of confidence since coming to the shelter, and has shown a love for the active adventure-dog lifestyle and is a big fan of hiking! Alakia would do best as the only dog in the home so he can have all your love to himself. Churro is originally from Texas. She turned 4 in April. She is very gentle, playful, and loves to be walked. We would love for her to go to a home where she will get attention and love. Churro is also a wonderful jumper and if properly trained for agility, she could be a great agility dog. She also gets along well with other dogs. Her one fault is if the door or gate is open she will try to escape. She is not fixed, the owner is willing to pay for the surgery.

We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.
