Story
Moose is a purebred German Shepherd (Thick Stock Working Line) from a reputable breeder. He just turned 5 and is a stunning long-haired sable. He is the definition of a "velcro dog" - he wants to be right by your side through everything (even the bathroom runs!). My husband is disabled and I am currently balancing full-time work with homeschooling our children. Moose is a brilliant, loyal "office buddy," but because life has become so busy, he spends too much time cooped up. He has so much untapped potential, and we feel he deserves a home where he can be the center of attention and get the activity he craves. A few key things to know about Moose: • Temperament: Incredibly smart, eager to please, and wonderful with both children and other dogs. • Training: He knows his basics and is fully house-trained. • Special Note: He has "day blindness," meaning he struggles in bright light. He’s perfect indoors, but on sunny walks, he needs guidance so he doesn’t bump into things.

Story
We adopted him from a Humane Society as a puppy. We have 4 dogs in the home including one we adopted shortly after him. He's been a great dog, very loving and sweet, but has recently been acting more aggressively towards our other young dog close to his age. He recently attacked her and cut her ear so she had to be taken to the vet. The other dogs no longer feel safe near him so we've been keeping them separated until we can find him a more suitable home. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope he's a great fit for you.
