Story
Hi, I`m Lumberjack! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 84 pounds.** I still need to be neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done okay meeting dogs at the shelter. Bring any dogs from your home to meet me.Cats? I may do okay in a home with cats. Slow and proper introductions would be a must in order to set me up for success. Ask staff for introduction handouts.Kids? I am big guy and don`t want to knock anyone over accidentally. (10+) Bring any kids from the home to meet me!Anything else you`d like us to know, Lumberjack? I`m a strong, young shepherd that would benefit from structure and steady companion. I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. Story
Hello, I`m Boo! I`m about 9 months old and weigh 68 pounds.Do you like...Dogs? I have been very friendly with all the dogs I have met. I would love to meet any potential doggy family members before going home with them.Cats? I have done well with cats previously. With a slow, proper introduction it is suspected I would do well again but it is unknown how I will do meeting new cats initially.Kids? I have done well around young kids. I might be too much for small children but I am friendly. Recommended kids 6+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Boo? I am a young dog who still needs some basic manners training. I would love to live with an active and social family!I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! Story
Mr. Freeze was found on 2/10/26 at the 2200 block of Debra Drive S. in Springfield. He came into the shelter already neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503.
